The challenges facing Nigerian women on their way to the top

Nigeria is Africa's most populous country, and as such you'd perhaps think that the law of averages would mean that Nigerian women and girls in the country would be well represented in the fields of politics, business and education. But you'd be wrong. A recent Gender Equality Index published by the World Economic Forum showed the country lags behind other nations on the continent in this regard.
