This used to be the way I take notes in class during university like 6 years ago, I didn't sketch or doodle much, but I combined drawing, mind mapping, and taking notes together, and I swear to god, a lot of times I would go to midterms reading the concepts I wrote about in my notebook and only studying the things I didn't recall or didnt really understand during lectures, this way really helped me save a lot of valuable time, im not a straight A's kid but I graduated with a high GPA AND a lot of knowledge that didn't get forgotten~~

I'm just about to start uni this year and I definitely want to try this because I feel like I can remember drawings that I have done better than written notes. Also, I love drawing so this is just another way to find studying a little more enjoyable.
this is my first time hearing about sketch-notes. im gonna start taking sketch-notes from today. hope it will be helpful for me. thanks for this interesting topic. have a good day.
Hey! I do this! What I do is whenever a new topic is mentioned in the lecture, say, a teacher is teaching thermodynamics. He gives some introduction, I make a box with a title and highlight it, and then scribble things in bullet points or maps and draw emojis. I use black, blue and red pen. Red for stuff I didn’t know or thought of it as extremely important, blue for facts and questions, black for calculations and examples, I also make a special box around the formulas. Handwriting is not my priority though, I just make the whole thing neat enough to be only plausible for me. 😅 Not many in my class can understand what I write, if a friend is absent she never calls me to send her notes.
Scatch notes help me remember everything I write down. Mechanic ideas, architect ideas, hobbies like that. I write all my scatch notes on paper Notebook, never tech.you said everything perfectly, sir and gave me some ideas.
I had seen many videoes where they had used this technique, but no one had mentioned what it was. Now u know, it's SKETCHNOTES... new useful information... Dhanyāsmi 🙏🏼
my history teacher has my class do something similar to this; he gives us pictures of people, events, places, things, etc. to glue in the margin of our notebooks.
Hello! I'm not much for doodling, but back in Uni I used to take notes using my particular version of shorthand, where I used abreviations, but also math signs and even some Kanji from some Japanese classes I took in order to signify some concepts.
i might try it in my diary to visualise what i want to do in the coming months. i also have a yearly calendar on a wall with stickers. but i might start doing some drawings too
Wow!! Truly appreciate your time you put creating this video. This is exactly what I needed for my higher studying. At times I have a forgetful mind. But after using this I think it'll make a big difference in my life. Thank you so much.🙏😇 💖
Our english teacher taugh us such technics for retelling of the stories read. And she taught us that there are good people in the world and helped us write letters to other children in America from Russia. This is how we were taught in English in the USSR to think that the USA wishes us well. And we still think that ordinary Americans want peace and goodness just like us.
I ran across the original Sketch Notes book at a local junior college learning center. As fascinating and helpful as it can be, it slows the note taking process way too much. Sketch notes are best used a refining tool when reviewing written notes, or as an illustration tool for mind maps.
Atlast found someone who exactly used my method...I was never in my life was a top student and after 11 th grade I discovered 100s of ways in youtube which never works or partially works for me and this is the one method which I personally found out to myself and it worked and my scores skyrocketed....it's easily revisable too compared to conventional notes
