I think the problem with noise complaint was that initial bog down. It hooks way to good on the launch. Try slipping the clutch more to prevent bogging maybe. Gonna toast the clutch quicker but could help run quicker.

Love your content brother! You definitely got that driver mod!! I'm sure it's been mentioned already, It's probably fuel slosh from the front. Run a rubber hose from the front vent tube to the rear vent tube on the carb with a slit cut in the top side in the center of the hose so it still breathes.

hey tom you might’ve fixed it already but check the bolts on the guide linkage for masutangu. There are supposed to be TWO bolted to the outside of the trans sometimes they are loose or if you have one it’ll back out the other one overtime

The wrenching bits, the unplanned comedy, spirited driving, passion for making the builds cohesive and fun, etc. Imo u give hot rodding a fantastic reputation and a genuinely worth while experience. And both Mustangs r pretty for how raw they look and how fast they seem. That being said, neither Mustang is better than the other. They have their own cool quirks.
Trick for you on that Lucas. Start to Pour it in first, cut the bottom off and use it as the funnel. Lets the syrup go in easier and is a nice clean disposable funnel for your new oil.

I think, the Honda Engine is a nice choice. I am from germany, and i own a Toyota Corolla Verso R1. It's a MPV, only for europe. This thing has a 2.2 liter Turbodiesel, creates 177 hp and 400 Nm torque. It transfers the power thru a 6 speed manual to the front wheels. The whole car has a weight of 1,45 tons. 0-100 kph in 8,4 sec, 0-200 kph in ~22 sec and has a topspeed of 230 kph. And it reach that times even fully loaded with 5 passengers and luggage. When you drive it normal, you get a mileage of 33,5 mpg. At an Autobahn Speed of 160 kph it has a mileage of 29,4 mpg. At 180 kph it has a mileage of 27,6 mpg. At full throttle and 230 kph the mileage is 23,5. But i usually drive only 130 kph and get a mileage on the Autobahn of 39,2 mpg. Your Mustangs are cool. But here in Europe they are not the right kind of cars. Expensive in insurance, parts, and we pay a lot for fuel. Arround $ 1.96 per liter. So one gallon costs ~$ 7,35.
I am now motivated to make my own masutangu, I think I will do a “General Grant”, a play on General Lee. I have a Javelin tub and an auction MKZ Twin turbo. I will keep you updated

Gotta watch those plastic hoses for the oil pressure sensor they tend to rub holes and come out of the fittings. Always go with the copper lines.
