I live out in the countryside in New Brunswick Canada with lots of snow fall, my PT50 goes through snow like it’s not even there, the track system is so well balanced for even ground pressure and the clearance is a foot, I’ve also installed studs through the track for ice and its awesome, I can push a full blade of snow up a 10% slope without slipping, it also turns on a dime. My neighbour has a T650 Bob cat that he only uses on his driveway with a snowblower, I do the sanding on the driveways after freezing rain like it’s driving on gravel. Anyone who says the bob cats are not being operated properly or the size of the machine is the issue isn’t an operator.
Completely different drive system and suspension. Not a dozer style undercarriage. I have a 8 foot snowpusher on my 40 and it can't be stopped in most snow. ASV dominates for tracks in snow. They arent cheap but wow can they attack snow. Only big downside is how little downpressure you can do with a pusher. The door has such little clearance that they need to built to almost not scrape.
ASV skid steers are probably the most unreliable machines out there. Im a union operator and have been for over 20 years and have run almost all brands out there. John Deere and bobcat are the best i think but thats just me. I have ran a couple ASV ones and they were nothing but problem's. Always popping tracks off. Blowing hydraulic lines. Its seems like the hoses were not rated for the psi the pump was pulling out. Maybe the ones i ran where just lemon's but tgey we're new.
The bobcat operators are not even trying, what a farce
Is that the sentence you were trying to type?
It seemed like they gave up as soon as they got stuck. True no effort after stopping by they did seem to be out classed
No the other bobcat just stoped track never spun at all
If you can't get yourself out of that you shouldn't even be in the seat
That bobcat weighs nearly 10000lbs, no way it just stopped
The Bobcat just stopped. He wasn't even stuck what a joke.

I own an asv rt60. They will outwork any other machine in the snow. Their track system is amazing.
Not entirely true. Cat had a MTL undercarriage on the older 257d and 277d machines that’s the same as ASV.
They bought that track system from ASV. When Terex bought ASV, (direct competitor to Cat) that ended that relationship.@@ChaseLandMgmt
This is an amazing test of how you can make it look like one machine is superior and morons will believe it is.
Nice asv we love it best track system in the industry
That's a Beast!
Thats awesome!! I was a Finnish welder on asv skid steers!!
My rc60 would easily drive in 3ft of powdery snow, it’s similar to skiing on fresh powder.
By far the badest machine in ❄️ snow

Dumb test!! The other guys just stopped!!
Multi terrain vs rigid track systems.
The ASV is bad to the bone along with the price!. I would never run my bobcat in snow that deep I would clear a pathway!.
The little cats that couldn't! Lol
Bald tracks on smaller machines?
Narrower tracks with a different pattern. A LOT more ground clearance on the ASV

They just stopped lol wtf
Outta power

first of all it looks like the VT is a way bigger machine than the BC"S. so bigger is heavier. Go figure why STUPID VIDEO
Surprising! The largest, heaviest, widest tracked one did better. So shocking, not!
Sucks cat went away from this style
The new bobcats are a pile of shit. ASV smokes them in the mud and snow. Both bobcats high centered on the snow, asv has double the ground clearance.
