Chelsea have won the 2020/21 Champions League after beating Manchester City in the final. Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game to give Chelsea their second European Cup.

I'm out of words, what a performance, we played as a unit not as individuals, showing passion and a strong work ethic but also overcoming the loss from Aston Villa and the FA Cup whilst City had just lifted the Premier League last week and had built upon making this their first CL title. Full credit has to be given to the players but particularly for Tuchel and Lampard, without which this would not have been possible. Of course there are others but I would not have time to do so. Looking forward to the UEFA Super Cup and nostalgia aside, this side does have what it takes to be better than before, which is a tough feat but we need to be more clinical. Kante has proven himself to be one of the best CDMs ever to grace the game.

Kante is so much more than just a CDM he really does not get the credit for his actual ball skills the name can dribble pass players he can score goals when he has been allowed to move further up the field, he can do it all there is not an all round midfielder like him, and to be honest with you i have never seen in 45 years of watching football a player who recovers so much ball and knows exactly where to be and when to stick his foot in.
