@jonnevaltonen I really think you made the best decision you only could. I am the one who know the OST for Chrono Trigger almost perfectly and was really impressed about the idea. It's something I wanted to hear on this concert so badly - a real surprise. It also showed the variety of the whole event. For me - simply outstanding, better than the original version ;).
and you did definitely a GREAT job there! in my honest opinion: especially the dramatical and climatical tense from 3:55 - 4:10 totally fits to the scenery.. i played the game a lot of times.. and personally, i think that it was a good choice to underline this emotional and destructive setting only with vocals... cause it even more highlights the whole desperation and tragedy...
@Dellamorte81 Agree, but I don't think that would be possible, since there isn't many tracks from Nobuo in Chrono. Now... that makes me anxious for a Mitsuda "God" Tribute
@jonnevaltonen Excellent job on this one! I would never expect an arrangement like this, but it turned out to be really great! I, too, missed the instruments a bit, but I guess it's just because I'm used to the song with all the instruments, not because the arrangement was weird, or anything of the sort. If the arrangement was supposed to be exactly the original, it would be better to have made a medley, after all. Keep up the good work : )
This is in my top 5 arrangements of anything, ever. Beautiful work.
gosh i had the luck to be there and meet nobuo uematsu...he is such an amazing person. great orchestra. it was perfect
This song is haunting and very beautiful! It's my favorite song on Chrono Trigger! This is brilliant! Well done!
@Schokioki For the record, the Metroid arrangement at Symphonic Legends was created by Torsten Rasch.

yeah.. it was wonderful!
Chrono trigger Silent Light epic *-*
Man...I didn't recognize the song until I search for the original soundtrack.
Wasn't Chrono Trigger composed by Yasunori Mitsuda? Not by Uematsu.
+Expand Leo he did some of the music but he had uematsu take over when he fell ill
@jonnevaltonen Dear Mr Valtonen,
I have to tell you that I resent your messing up the Metroid arrangement at Symphonic Legends.
Best regards
Brilliant
Could you possibly post all this as one video?
@jonnevaltonen You arranged this piece?
Onko teillä konsertteja Suomessa?
@erikamth
Oh please, it HAS to happen (Chrono... but also Xeno *oh gawd XENO*... and a bit of Shadow Hearts....). A tribute to Mitsuda.
a short chrono medley would've been better. i was there, too.
