Hey..happyrider reviews I just bought an JBL eon one after watching your reviews... I'm overall happy with it.. But while playing using the Bluetooth from an UA-cam video mine hits the limit even at 30-40% master volume...does yours behave the same?
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
I should add that this week I added a Bose F1 Subwoofer to the JBL's and it's amazing what they all sound like together. Relatively same footprint, probability and the sonic gains are huge. I run the towers at 10 o'clock on bass dial and the Bose at around 12 depends on environment. Trust me this combo is killer!
I own two of the EON One's for 3 months now. Sound quality is great -- in a small to average room (40 ppl max). Perfect for inside house parties/events. Sublime for karaoke parties! They are so versatile - multiple input options and they aren't that heavy to lug around. I took them outside for a pool party (100+) and this was where they showed their weakness. The small mids and high drivers couldn't project the sound far enough. The 10" subs were hitting their max but I could barely hear across the length of pool. I'm keeping them though. They are still terrific for small inside events.
I've had an Eon One for a couple of years and am very, very happy with it. I had an issue where the output from the amp to the woofer would cut out occasionally on gigs. I sent it to Harmen, who does the service from these units, and although they said they would be able to fix it when I initially called, after checking the unit they advised they didn't have the parts for repair and would be returning it. So, if you need service you are better off looking for a used unit. Don't waste your time, or shipping charges, sending the unit in for service.
Considering all the benefits, battery, individual channel volume controls, Bluetooth, less weight and now after hearing the comparison the S1 Pro is definitely heads above.
when i watching this video, my eye-lid are coming heavy and feel sleepy. but suddently i just woke up and my eye-lid are so light when u start singing! xD
Hi, Thank you for the review. What's the Watt & DB range, as nothing I could find on JBL site? Does it have line out, can we connect multiple speakers like active speaker have option like "Thru/mix out/line out".
hi thanx for information, can i connect additional speakers from the RCA and still use this main speaker also in use, basically supplement this with other speakers ?
Hey. Partybox 1000 vs professional audio system? Wrong comparison. Apples vs oranges. Both are meant for different applications! PB1000 will exhibit deeper, overpowering & low bass, but all the professional audio speakers will provide you flat sound signature. Balanced. No overpowering highs, no overpowering bass like in hi-fi systems. If you see to use your speaker for allround applications, then professional audio! If only indoor use and you like only overpowering lows then the hi-fi systems. Totally depends upon what you are trying to do!
@@techopunch7738 keep in mind, it's home audio system! Not professional audio! Home audio systems are marketed* with fake ratings! Compare professional audio to home audio, same wattage! 😂 Mark my words
Have had an Eon One for since 2016. Last year I took it to a JBL service center for fixing the weak mic preamps. Improved mic volume maybe 20%. With a Mackie mixer it is amazing. Bass is rich and deep but main thing is that the music and vocals are balanced to give great high quality sound. I think the future of PA speakers is this model of a floor bass unit and linear array tweeters. Come JBL stop making these speakers so ugly! 😀
So. How did you use a Mackie mixer on this particular model? This Eon One comes built on mixer. Can you explain more about it? What Mackie mixer did you use on this model?
@@Gioxtream in the past year I've used the latest Mackie ProFX6V3 mixer. It is the low end..:) I plug in the mics and instruments or music backing tracks into it. Then, the main Audio out, by 1/4" jacks/cables, into the JBL Eon One. The Mic preamps on the JBL are pretty pathetic, which is why I use the Mackie mixer EVEN THOUGH the JBL does have an onboard mixer and Mic inputs.
I am looking to set one of these up in my cafe which is about 3 times the size of your room in the video, and i'd be playing electronic music. My main concern is that does it have enough low bass for people to feel at lower volumes.? And Thanks a lot for the review video!
@@josealfredfernandes lol you’re trippin, the JBL partybox 1000 is way louder and has deeper bass. Reason why it’s not portable because it’s a 1200watt speaker and has a 12inch subwoofer underneath it

Worst music to pick for a demo... Not a great representation of what this can do. I just demo'd one at a Guitar Center and it sounded great... Can't tell by this video tho... Switch up the music next time... Multiple styles... Rock, country, blues metal, top 40 etc... Show off the low end, accentuate it's clarity on the top end. You explained it all well enough... Now let's HEAR IT!!
You have to vary the demo songs, with different instruments, singers women and men, I've seen other tests of your taste but the music is the same always.
Eon One Pro also has a 7 channel mixer with 4 XLR/1/4 inch inputs., along with an XLR pass thru. Built in USB charge port and docking station for mobile devices.
Video is interesting and well detailed, I do respect the intent. Just I don't agree with the comment about re-chargeable batteries (this model don't have batteries), neither have an 8" woofer as stated. Thank you.
The Pro has more chanels which is the reason I went with it. I play acoustic singer songwriter kind of gigs and another musician and I can play at the same time with the pro. It sounds great also, but not really looking for the really deep bass. The battery has come in handy, but not too sure about six hours of play time, they may have stretched that in my opinion. Both sound great!
Be aware that JBL will not cover your spacers should they stop working. I know because it happened to be, I had to pay a local shop for the repair. I will never buy a JBL product again!
