    Tashkent is a modern city. It became important only during WW2. Not sure about the ancient importance since Bukhara was the main trading place.

    Those were Persian, now Iranians. I was thinking about that, as the economy in the West is becoming unfriendly and not affordable for older folks, more and more will seniors will be exploring Central Asia. They already live in Mexico, South America, Vietnam. I can see why Westerners could choose Uzbekistan, the cost of living is quite cheap and the quality of food and hospitality is one of the highest.

      He may have used Persian language or Arabic as at that time these languages were like Russian and English languages for us now but that doesn't show the nation.

    Hi I like your input/conclusions,very interesting #but what do you know about their economy?who and how much are the corrupt government staff moneylaundering & where?are they involved in crypto currency/BITCOIN? What's the situation with drug/arms/illegal human organ harvesting/trafficking?how well do you access to the Government Intelligence /bankers?

    • @zeddoes
      @zeddoes 2 роки тому

      Economy is growing. Locals are making just enough to live a life. Paycheck to paycheck. Corruption exists as anywhere in the world. Less corrupted than the USA tho. Many officials who tried to steal government money are in prison, or hiding around. Politically stable, but dictatorship vibes like turkey as an example. Crypto is illegal to transfer as cant be controlled. But laws are on process to make it legal. You can’t find drugs. No guns, human organ harvesting never happened. Government services are easy to access. All has websites, bills paid online easily. Banking is fast, best bank by my experience is Ipak Yuli bank. English is spoken more by younger generation more and more every year. You can check the safety online, it’s way safer than most other countries. Crime rates are low, and you will have great welcome from locals as a foreigner.

    • @jahmedov

    So, let me make sure I understand this sales pitch here. 1) If you can get past the soviet look of apartment buildings, they have your basic needs; 2) The healthcare is sub standard to Western countries; 3) It’s a Muslim country thus questionable human right laws and; 4) you should not buy property as it’s too complex for foreigners so you should just rent…… OK I’m sold. Sign me up :)

      Yes, in Uzbekistan, 95% of the population is Muslim, but despite this, Uzbekistan is a secular country. And here live more than 30 nationalities and 3 religions, Christians, Jews and Muslims, and no one oppresses each other. Private clinics fully comply with European standards and are cheaper than in Europe. I myself saw quite a few foreigners who came to us to Dentist
