Sam Tutty is such an incredible vocalist and actor, and I am so glad I had the pleasure of seeing DEH in the West End this month. Singing these songs takes both a level of vocal maturity, but youthful vigor to be able to maintain this voice 5-7 shows per week. Honestly, it's incredible how he can transition from chest to head to falsetto so easily, quickly, and without straining his voice. Truly one to keep an eye on here!
He really captures this character and sings it so well. He is so underrated. Ben sang everything beautifully and confidentially even when it didn't fit at all. It was a showcase for his voice, not his acting. SAM managed to capture the sincerely and vulnerability and confusion in his character and made Evan more relatable to me. Ben was amazing, but so show boating for his voice he lost the character. Sam captured the character again.
im sorry but have you watched ben on that movie? that acting? that voice? ben is evan. Sam is great and I cant explain how much I love his performance but hes no way a better choice for the movie. 🙄
