I love your recipes. Your pomfret fry recipe is one of my most favourite ones. You mentioned use freshwater fish, but Mackerel is a sea water fish… at least that’s what we get here in England. I’ll give it a try soon. Keep them coming ❤️
Thank you so much for the compliment! ❤️ Yes, the fish used in this recipe is a saltwater fish but you can go ahead and get experimental with varieties of fish, whatever that may be available to you. Try it out and let us know how it goes. 😁👍🏻

This looks so delicious and I really want to make it too, but I am Not sure how much hot water I should use. Could you maybe give me a number on how many water to use approximately?
Can we use any fish for this recipe?
You've forgotten the coriander leaves which you saved earlier for garnishing 🙃 anyway nice recipe though 😍
🇸🇬👏
Lovely mouth watering fish gravy. But where is the remaining kothmir you kept aside which you were supposed to use for ganishing. Visarlaat vat ta.
I hate to correct you dear Chief but allow me, it is actually “fresh”water not “sweet”water. Funny by the way because also in my Language (Dutch) it would be translated as sweet water. Thank you for the education, I definitely became better in preparing Indian cuisine by following Get Curried
Teacher , not everything in the world is named the way you think. In my country we call it sweet water . And I am not from India. Don't be correcting people when you have not researched properly. Just copy the recipe
@@preciouschawanda8485 When using English Language it is called Fresh water, this was my point.
@@0956yn this continent, sweet water fish refers to the fishes collected from the rivers or pool and salt water fish refers to the fishes collected from the sea. And both taste significantly different depending on their sources. So I guess it’s important for him to call it “sweet water” for the context purpose.
@@0956y Agree …. ! Never heard of ‘sweet water’ fish before. It’s usually referred to as fresh water fish.
You missed to add coriander leaves that you set aside before blending for garnish.
Hi there! Instead of whole mackerels, can one use boneless cubes of any fish like basa/ bhetki/ tuna/ mahi-mahi etc?
So any fish goes well with this recipe or is it just mackerel?
Varun ji aapaka native place Kudal Malvan hai kya? Please reply
Melon seeds? Is there anything to substitute them?
Hindi me bhi batao
You have used old fish (almost rotten fish).
Next time , use fresh fish.
Bhai Hindi me bolo English nahi aati
This is not mackerel of any kind
everyone calls them chef .... Pathetic
Ghanta
Taste not good
