Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Thought I would clarify on a lot of the comments on my City build to help everyone out! Thanks to Moxsy for allowing all of us to share our little creations and hopefully inspire builds and your future creations! These bases were amazing considering we don’t have much to work with right now and stairs are challenging lol 1.) No mods outside of game were used as I am on Xbox! In your world settings, I changed “Base Deterioration Rate” to 0 and number of pals from 15 to 20. More pals more fun. The base detororiation does not allow any benefits as you can only build pal structures within the blue circle anyways. It does however allow you to freely build any creations you want. Aka. A house that won’t get in the way of pals getting stuck. But you’ll find out things get cluttered and tight. I built buildings outside my blue pal space for sleeping and storage (library).and whatever creations I thought of! (Arena, taverns, armory, etc.) 2.) I used 2 pal boxes. 1 for main pal base which housed everything I needed. The 2nd I picked up and moved around so I could build where I wanted to as I played solo. Tip: build pal box. Place large storage container. Use fast travel with grappling hook to transport all materials without going back and forth with 200 stone. The third pal box was mining coal and iron. 3.) Everything has a purpose and has to be functional. The city was for NPCs so I can buy whatever I need and of course SELL NAILS to the 3 different merchants. Library was for all TM and schematic storage armory has all well armor and weapons, etc. The pal blue circle should really only be focused on Pal working and functionality. Pals get stuck on everything. God forbid they get in a tree. 4.) Yes sometimes I have the luxury of touching grass. Not all the time though. I’m afraid of the sun. But in all honesty you work hard you’ll set yourself up to be able to no life pal world. My creations reflect my work ethic. Posted the original link for all wanting to see full tour. Any other questions I’ll do my best to answer them. These build videos are here to inspire, share ideas and give people some help if they don’t know where to start! Hope this helps in some way and remember to ask for consent from the NPCs first if you plan on catching them. Have fun y’all! ua-cam.com/video/76elvhX-e9g/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

He went all in for this looks like 2 maybe 3 pal boxes were placed here. And on Xbox as well so no mods. That is insane well deserved win absolutely insane base design congratulations yet again to the winner amazing base!
Yeah, but what catches my attention is that he had NPCs roaming around (deployed in the palbox) and then also had a fully functional base with Pals going further away than possible for those NPCs to still be within the same Palbox range. So at *least* two went into this base, and he has the structure deterioration setting turned off (as one should xD) and then just went ham. Just 2 palboxes! Just 1 for the NPC town so they could walk around (Run and buy what I need from the merchants) and the 2nd was for functioning pals! The 3rd is at Ore and Charcoal spot (189, -38). Be sure to turn Structure Deterioration to 0 in world settings so you are able to build outside blue base zone. Allows more space to focus on just “pal structures” within the blue zone! Hope this helps!

In my humble opinion, 1st place and 2nd place were very well deserved! But for me, 3rd place wasn't as impressive as the submission in honorable mentions and winner for best use of space. The intricacy and coziness of that one is beyond what any of the others did, and that would have been in the top 3 for me. But, I didn't see all the submissions and maybe there wasn't another good option for best use of space. Either way, this gave me huge inspiration to make a cool build of my own at some point. #1 blew me away. People are insane man. I started to build a cool base, its one of my favorite things to do in survival games but after my first few run ins with pal pathing issues I just decided to keep it simple lol. Number 1 was insane. Congrats to that person and well deserved. Does anyone know if mods were used for that? There were a lot of items i havent seen before, but granted, im only level 30
Hey Vilestride! I’m on Xbox so no mods outside the game! The only setting in world settings that needed to be changed was “Structure Deterioration Rate” change that to 0. This allows your buildings outside the blue base zone circle to not disintegrate. This will allow your base to feel less cramped as once you build all your “pal structures” it doesn’t leave a lot of room for other builds & creativity. I used 1 pal box to pick up and move, place a storage container and transported materials from one base to the other so I could build without having to go back and forth. I All items are in game! Just be sure to have one base for farming ore always because you’ll need it! The plants unlock will let you place Ivy to add dimension to your buildings! Hope this helps and hopefully you got some inspiration for your base!
Haven't played but are you sure #1 didn't used mods? Mods are allowed? I don't see those signs, construction decorations and soccer/football goal be in vanilla 12:16
Its a really cool set of bases. I am put off by the fact that almsot every single one of them went well outside the bounds of their palbox. This isnt doable in a normal/standard server or unmodified multiplayer server. Would really have loved to see some of the bases that adhered to that rule.
not true? You can build outside the limits of a base - but only certain things. He's most likely on xbox given the UI so no mods there. Weird how people are trying to find ways to tear this down as if this wasn't a well deserved win.
The person that won first place, they must've turned off building decay or something because they're building outside base lines everywhere... It's an incredible base! But not really fair against competition working strictly within pal box base lines.
My friend has been playing Ark: Survival Evolved for the last 5 years and he used to only play PvP but finally he's giving in to building pretty bases instead of useful ones...on Palworld obviously.
So does your base area space(the blue border) increase as you level up your palbox? Because some of these builds seem much bigger than the space i have
I wish I could get the diagonal roof top pieces to work but its really finicky a lot of the times and the building system can be wonky. Was getting so frustrated sometimes that I was almost considering using mods just to make everything work properly in the game.
Because I was so tired of getting raided I just moved my main base to the tower area. Took me 1h30 mnt to move most of my resources and break down everything.
Is there a reason I can't get my base to even be close to that large? On overall size the circle seems much more limiting on Xbox is this true? Amazing builds, would never have the talent to do it but WOW
meanwhile, I decided to try to build a genuine fort in the very initial starting area, and apparently gathering pals go crazy if they are inside and on a foundation want to gather resources that still spawned under the floor Q_Q I built the whole thing up before putting pals inside just to find out they just glitch out unable to decide what to do
No you can just turn down the decomp of items to 0 and the. Build outside the base area without problems. You can see as he is in the buildings where the blue line for his pall box is.
the #1 base must have turned off structures deterioration in settings which allowed them to build outside of palbox ring without it collapsing over time.
How do they have so much area to build? Does the circle eventually expand? I’m only 2 days in and level 26 but doesn’t seem like my circle is close to that big.
Im just looking for ideas to build and the fist base on the ruins thats where i start building too lmao! Its the only pretty place i found in the game beside on the obsidian mountain there is a destroy town i feel to rebuild
The way they populated the town with npcs is insane

I just built my house in the cave waterfall at -17,-94 I wish I had built it sooner to try to submit
Did the contest allow to build well outside the Palbox radius?? I thought the point was to keep it within that range!
Love this kind of video idea. It was wonderful to see the creativity. Now I know what I am up against for the next one 😂🎉
I wish I could get the diagonal roof top pieces to work but its really finicky a lot of the times and the building system can be wonky. Was getting so frustrated sometimes that I was almost considering using mods just to make everything work properly in the game.
So are you able to make your bases side by side eachother to make like a super base idk how you vould make that town otherwise
Because I was so tired of getting raided I just moved my main base to the tower area. Took me 1h30 mnt to move most of my resources and break down everything.
I thought my bases were cool but these are truly next level
Any link to the actual submissions? I want to see the uncut, no skipping around of the bases
Is there a reason I can't get my base to even be close to that large? On overall size the circle seems much more limiting on Xbox is this true? Amazing builds, would never have the talent to do it but WOW
Where were the palboxes placed for the last base?
At -80, 195 I tried to build but half of the tower wasn’t loading so I fell through the mesh and died😢
12:43 even the Jormuntide stuck in place... I hope they will never fix that
meanwhile, I decided to try to build a genuine fort in the very initial starting area, and apparently gathering pals go crazy if they are inside and on a foundation want to gather resources that still spawned under the floor Q_Q I built the whole thing up before putting pals inside just to find out they just glitch out unable to decide what to do
Best base location : The right side of the ise wind island . There is a natural ramp -put a wall and dor there , and that s it. Try it ;-)
What's impressive is that they built outside the circle which mean they had to bounce back and forth getting more materials to build wow thats crazy
You can carry materials on you and build outside the blue zones anywhere
This is excellent, I never thought about putting 2 or 3 bases side by side. I have a new project now 😅
That Castle town is crazy!
Lighting shines a radius not blocked by objects like walls, floors, and doors.
Did 1st place have an expanded building radius??
How did he do this town in the end with the size and pal restrictions per base?
I love the creativity of all of these!
Are these in community servers private servers or in single player mode . I’ve been deleted 3 times playing in a community server it’s such a downer
Do you have any plans to tour your waterfall base for us? I'd love to see how you built that one.
Did the guy at number 1 mod his game to expand the Palbox base area?
No you can just turn down the decomp of items to 0 and the. Build outside the base area without problems.
You can see as he is in the buildings where the blue line for his pall box is.
Thanks for this tip!@@coffeedudeable
The only issue I get when making big bases when the building is slightly out the blue line it always breaks since they deteriorate over time
the #1 base must have turned off structures deterioration in settings which allowed them to build outside of palbox ring without it collapsing over time.
I think they pretty much all did.
yeah he said he did exactly that in one of the comments above
How do they have so much area to build? Does the circle eventually expand? I’m only 2 days in and level 26 but doesn’t seem like my circle is close to that big.
two bases directly next to each other. once you level your base up you can have up to three bases.
How is the first builder able to keep structures outside the base perimeter without them breaking?
Is that cavern from the starting area??
Wow that last one is insane.
Number 1 was obviously insane. But number 2 was the best imo
Anyone know the co-ordinates for the final base, absolutely crazy btw well deserved win
Please hold another competition. This was epic.
Is it fair to pick 1st and 2nd place as “winners” when they are modded bases?
why u guys seems like have a bigger size of base? which is the blue line that appear when we create palbox. is there any tips?

Dang. I never finished my underwater base build in time.
Im just looking for ideas to build and the fist base on the ruins thats where i start building too lmao! Its the only pretty place i found in the game beside on the obsidian mountain there is a destroy town i feel to rebuild
did 1st place turn off deteriorating or sum ?
damn thats crazy, a question guys, is grizzbolt minigun worth it?
Can't wait til they add more detail to the base system, really let us go ham
yeaahhh we need some sort of "fine wood" base tier, as well as pillars/railings.
Love this type of video!
