Another amazing how to from my awesome friend! Now that is how you Git-R-Done! Thanks for showing us how you do it over there. Love the knee pads and ponytails! Hope you have a great day!
Haha, my knees cant take it anymore. I need young Haili back here again!! She is going to be back on Monday!! Yay!! Have a great week my awesome friend!
I wish my beets looked like that! Those are one vegetable it seems I consistently struggle with. I think I'll give your method a try! Thanks for sharing!
I've never had success with beets🙄 what type of soil do you have in your beds? How eary do you fertilize them? What type of fertilizer do you use? Do you fertilize in the cells? Yours look so pretty and mine are so limpy. I'm really enjoying your videos! So helpful and I'm learning so much!
I've been thinking about beet transplants instead of direct sowing. I haven't done it because I don't like those trays. But I figured out a custom seed starting system. Just need to set it up.
where do you get your seed starting trays you used here, Patti I like that volume! i am so enjoying you girl. you speak so much truth & wisdom just br being doen to earth!TY!
Wr got these trays when we grew flowers. The plugs came in them and we just reuse them every year. Check at your local garden centers, they usually throw them out.
@@Growwiththelaplantes even if you got the paper cells, that would be of huge benefit, stretch out the chain by hand into a furrow, although 25 mins is quick it would save your knees.
Great videos, on the Beet transplanting, can you let me know how long did the seeds take to germinate and when do you transplant (after how many days) ? Can the seeds germinate just on cocopeat or do I need to use some manure along with cocopeat?
How did you figure out which variety of each veggie to grow? Did you look at what was being sold already or conduct some tests to see what sparked interest?
Excellent! I want to do beet starts next year. Mine are already in for the year. Did you thin them in the seed trays then since beet seeds are a cluster that can sprout multiple seedlings? Thank you
Hi, there is a video somewhere, where it shows the table but I'm not sure which video. Its basically a raised bed 3' wide x 16' long x 6" deep and we put legs and bracing on it and brought it up to table height. It worked fantastic and so nice to plant in.
@@Growwiththelaplantes I saw it quickly in a video but there wasn't anything in it. Just 6" deep and full sun? Same soil composition as in the raised beds in the greenhouse?
I guess I'm not waiting long enough for the plugs to mature. You should try the stand an plant to drop the plugs through. I just planted 2500 onion starts through it.It works great.

We used to struggle with beets as well, but transplanting into raised beds works well for us now! Thanks for watching!
great job with your video and thanks for the more frequent videos.
Thanks Della!!
Awesome job girl! 😊
Thank you!🤗🖐

And thank you!! I'm happy you enjoy the videos
Pretty darn good timing.
Awesome!
And the beets go on 🎶! Spring Hill ? What state ? Thanks for sharing.
We are in Canada!
Have you ever seen the paper pot transplanter? I've never used it, but it looks like it would save you a bunch of time.
Yes, we would like to try it someday.
@@Growwiththelaplantes even if you got the paper cells, that would be of huge benefit, stretch out the chain by hand into a furrow, although 25 mins is quick it would save your knees.
The paper does not degrade fast enough and affects the shape of beets .... maybe ok for baby beets. Curtis Stone mentioned this in one of his videos
Wow it's amazing, can you please tell us what variety is the best for biet, thanks
We fond the Red Ace grows best for us.
Awesome..thanks
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Good video. I'm wondering what kind of medium you use to plant your beet seeds in?

We just learned from year to year which varieties grew best for us.
Wonderful..👌👏 ..please, how much your totally expense in this farm..?
Excellent! I want to do beet starts next year. Mine are already in for the year. Did you thin them in the seed trays then since beet seeds are a cluster that can sprout multiple seedlings? Thank you
Thanks! No I didn't thin them. There are only two per cell. They will do fine.
Hi Patty, do you have a video on your onion growing table?

So good 😑😚
Thank you!
What time of the year do you plant them? Spring or fall?
The beets are they beet leaf? with 3" spacing when do you harvest the leaves baby/mature?
These are large beets.
How do you keep the soil together on your beatpluggz
The roots keep the soil intact.
I guess I'm not waiting long enough for the plugs to mature. You should try the stand an plant to drop the plugs through. I just planted 2500 onion starts through it.It works great.
those kneepads have wheels?
Haha, no but that's a great idea!
I meant how many succession do you plant?
Between 8-10
What am I doing wrong?? My beets stems are weak, they bend over and break easy.
Are they getting light when growing?
Can't beet that, can ya:))))
You know it!!!
How many success?
We have pretty much 100% success!
