- Hi guys! This vlog is a collection of moments from the past week here in Seoul. It's been pretty rainy and grey all over Korea lately but beautiful nonetheless! LMAO when you started to explain that bell is '종' I paused for a second and was like "wait didn't she say she was in 종로? OH WAIT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE" I love things like this. Similar story, it was so funny to learn words like 물고기 and 콧물 mean fish (water meat) and then runny nose (nose water)
right?! and omg nose water...got to love korean being so logical hahaha

pretty sure namjoon (from what he's posted on twitter) was in that museum recently too lol. seoul seems like it's never-ending, always something new to see and explore 😍 i often (and now mostly) write things for myself that i just need to write, sometimes i feel bad for not sharing but i think it's also good to just write for the sake of it and for creativity and for just getting things out of your brain (if that makes any sense). stay healthy, we'll be here waiting patiently for your next video ❤️

But I just wanted to say, I appreciate your tendency toward the supernatural and fantasy, and how, whenever you're walking in nature, you include music that really underscores your fantasy imagination so we, as viewers, can feel and understand your thoughts without even needing words to let us know. And when you called that one lovely lady in the raincoat a "flower fairy", I found it charming beyond words. I enjoy your videos for giving me those glimpses into Korea that I truly miss (as a Korean who has been living in the US for decades), and I appreciate the calming and soothing nature of your videos. Because if you called her a flower fairy, that is the most precious, wholesome thing, and I love it and got teary eyed. Ahh, it's been raining a lot here in New York too! Which always makes me think that Seoul and New York have pretty similar climates even though they are on different sides of the world. We get really hot humid summers with rain and then really windy cold winters, brrr. Loved this vlog, as always!! Especially loved the shot at 16:14 with the reflection in the coffee - so dreamy.
Just a tip is to wait until the melon gives when you press on it with your fingers, it has to feel bruised almost and that makes you know it’s perfectly ripe and orange! That was just a very unripe cantaloupe not a honeydew melon, which are usually smooth skinned :)
Actually this is the color its supposed to be! In Asia, this melon is green (google “japanese green musk melon) to check 🥰

As soon as you finished saying you bought a melon I remembered I bought a watermelon earlier today. I paused the video, ran to my kitchen and cut myself a piece.
Ok. I seriously fall in love with how you capture everything in your videos every time. I am fascinated with korea, specifically with how even though for example Seoul is such a big, fancy and pretty city, it has so much greenery. I would seriously be so happy to live in a big city with forests in it! I hope I someday get to experience that!

lol ive never washed the outside of a melon but i guess that makes sense the way you store it. i usually cut the rind off and either cut it up into little squares or scoop it as little balls to store

girl, look at the way the seeds are packed into the melon. you cut it from stem to stem so the slices all come out uniform and you can easily scoop the seeds away in an arc!
but it was almost completely round hahah cutting it one way or the other wouldnt affect the arc? LOL
