Impact on menstrual cycle - irregular periods and endometrial build-up due to lack of / delayed ovulation. I couldn’t find if this has been addressed in any previous videos? Thank you for this video on gallbladder stones, I admit it was my other main concern when considering this type of fasting!
One thing comes immediately to mind is that my gut motility is a tricky thing, herbs and such don't work well for me to that end. I have to be very picky about when I fast because of this

From a medical viewpoint, fasting makes sense for treating various metabolic diseases such as hyperlipidemia (excess fat in the blood), diabetes mellitus type 2 or metabolic syndrome. It is also indicated for obesity, in particular for patients who want to change their lifestyle permanently. Fasting has also been proven to have a beneficial effect on chronic inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or joint disorders like osteoarthritis. Irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, fibromyalgia syndrome and many other diseases can also be influenced by fasting.
I have been intermittent fasting 19/5 for a year, and I am now having gall bladder symptoms. I was diagnosed with a 14mm gallstone. Correlation is not causation- maybe it would have happened anyway. It’s possible that I’ve had that stone for years. I’ve lost 29 pounds in a year, so it was slow. I’m having very good luck with TUDCA- 2 every morning on an empty stomach. I LOVE fasting, so I’m hoping to manage my symptoms! I have 26 more pounds to lose!
Some things I've learned over the years...meats, carbs, sugar and dairy products are usually the cause of liver producing stones, which can over-whelm the gallbladder as time goes on with poor dieting. Pain in the gallbladder area and aching in the back right shoulder area is normally a sign of stone build-up (also poor digestions, etc). Fasting is good prior to doing a liver and gallbladder flush and or even subsiding gallbladder pain. I'm doing another Andreas Moritz liver gallbladder flush tonight after fasting with just juice, apples, chanca piedra tea (chanca piedra tea helps to dissolve stones) and salads for last 10 days. Thank you for your info.
Stones can form in various areas of the body from a lack of vitamin K. K1 and K2 are crucial to preventing calcification all over your body including your brain and your vascular system. Which would also cause build up in your joints causing arthritic results.
Can you tell me what the symptoms of the gallbladder issue presented. I think I’m experiencing them now, over the past 2 weeks. Affecting my bile colour etc. Any help would be great.
I do intermittent fasting for continous 3 months until up to this date,i had one meals a day with very low carb diet mostly proteins from animal and plant based very low carbs , it's a good news i don't have any gallbladder stones after undergoing Ultrasound👍👏👏
Heyy!! I'm 20F I'm already slim but skinny fat. I wanna try intermittent fasting to get rid of the excess fat. but today I read on Reddit that they got gallbladder stones after fasting. I'm afraid now. Should I do it or not do it??? I never had gallbladder or kidney issues I'm perfectly healthy. I just get abdominal pain if I ate too much.
This is a crucial topic because a modicum of folks like myself chronically worry about this. Rumors are that keto might reduce sludge and stone formation and might ( ? ) even dissolve existing stones. Keto occurs during fasting.

We appreciate your questions. I made a note of it, and we will discuss it in the editorial team meeting and maybe answer it in one of the next videos. So stay tuned!
Fasting does not cause the formation of stones. Eating a low fat diet or bad fat diet causes gallstones. And improper supplementation OR dehydration can cause kidney stones. You need vitamins K1 and K2 to prevent stones. AND healthy fats in your diet. Like Virgin olive oil, wheat germ oil, avocado oil, walnut oil, coconut oil, etc...
Maybe because persons were doing full fasts and not intermittent fasts. I've been doing intermittent fasts for over 20 years and my gall blader situation got bad esp after pregnancy weight gain. Now it hurts like crazy when i fast.
I've been fasting almost everyday for 2 years too (16-18 hours, some days 23 hours) and I recently found out I have gallstones after an ultrasound. I was also having lots of colic and gastric attacks. I stopped fasting for now.
@@MrGeorgewf it depends but it felt like someone is wringing my stomach like a washcloth. Sometimes it’s just severe bloating. I’m not sure if the colic attacks are caused by the stone movement or the food I eat (some of the triggers for me are spicy food, sour food and coffee)
@@athenaenergyshine7616 no it wont heal your gallstones, infact it will increase your risk of having stones, why? Because when youre not eating your gallbladder is not working therefore the liquid bile inside your gallbladder starts to thicken and eventually form into stones. Fasting only helps you lose weight by using your fat as energy instead of food you ate. only way to remove gallstones is via operation, there are also some people saying that flushing works but thats up to you if you want to believe it. I also have gallstones i fast for 13hrs to reduce weight and to help my liver because i think i also have fatty liver, i also drink apple cider vinegar to lower my blood sugar, never had gallbladder attacks since then but gallstones are still there.

Buchinger Wilhelmi therapeutic fasting is a procedure whereby a person voluntarily goes without food for a certain length of time, living mainly on their fat reserves instead. This stimulates autophagy and detox enzymes, resulting in a deep cleansing of the cells and tissue. At the same time, fasting reduces all inflammatory processes, alleviates pain and improves mobility. The success of fasting depends to a large extent on the four-day period at the end of the fast, during which patients at our clinic gradually start to eat normal meals again. During this process, dormant stem cells are activated, and new structures built up. It is a period of regeneration (also called rejuvenation) with tremendous therapeutic potential. For Buchinger Wilhelmi therapeutic fasting to take full effect, a stay at our clinic should last at least 10 days.

Is fasting helps to devolve gallstones?
Nope
You either live with it or surgery but unfortunately is has post effects after surgery and some of those side effects will hang on for life.
So just research more and have doc assistance and do the decision you see is the right.

No, fasting simply means you dont eat, when you sleep you are already fasting, most common fasting is 10-12hrs of not eating.

How long were you fasting for at a time?
Dr. Berg says the in between of 15-20 hours isn’t good for gall stones, but up to 15 hours is ok and 20 hours or after is good.
Short answer: Yes.
First! 😀
