To whomever is reading random new comments in a 4 year old Jocko podcast... Keep killing it brother/sister.
Lmao!! That's me!! I listened to one or two in the 100's & then decided to start from one.
@@patrickcenkush519 same! Started from 1
@@freeross371 🙂 I'm on 69 now. I listen while I'm working, most days. A lot of the humor comes in at the end.
Fell into the Stryker Meyer podcast while painting my house two months back. I'm hooked, training, reading, podcasts and now have come up with a plan to progress at work.
I am grateful to be listening and learning.
Rah!
"We're not gonna talk about the person that you just talked about on this podcast. It's not happening." LMAO
LOL Echo Charles comparing Jocko to Oprah's personal assistant, "like, did it feel emasculating?"... cracked up at this part
Echo Charles is a legend for saying that 😂 and Jocko’s reaction is priceless wahahaha
Jocko podcast is the only place where comments are all good, I think people are scared to criticize it for fear of jocko finding them. Lol
No it’s because he just spits facts every episode 🐐
you know shitt is getting real when the side cam kicks in
lol, I read the comment first, then when it happened, LOL, priceless.
If gravity waves exist, then they emanate from this man Jocko. It's always intense, always profound but always inspiring.
Came here after an argument with a family member. We're not going to attack heavily defended positions any longer. It was definitely a dumb argument that didn't benefit anybody. Great advice jocko and echo
Marriage, a soldier's greatest battle ;-)
No kidding.
Cringe
All respect for Jocko- "get a conceal carry permit, gun and training". God made man. Sam Colt made them equal.
M85FSLUVR what if i want a p226 instead of a 1911 woodrow wilson 😂😂😂😂
AQUAPHREESH193 I got one and love it! If it's good enough for the SEALs it's good enough for me.
This is my favorite podcast, no one is as real as this guy. I want to hear Jocko's opinion on US's involvement in Vietnam. He grew up around vets who were there and showed him the ropes about the military, I wonder what he thinks about the endeavor as a whole.
What do you think he'll say. Brave men had a job to do for their country. And they did it. You want him to get political? A man who dedicated his entire life to serving this country?
Alton akabigpoppa he has talked about this in other podcasts
Good evening friends, let's get after it!
U gotta head to Illinois jocko , we be representing out here!! Getting after it!!
Echo asks:
Jocko, did the admiral ever call you Stedman? 🤣
You guys are the best!💪🇺🇸
Great podcast, always knowledgeable. Always seems to hit home on what I happen to be thinking about or dealing with at the moment........especially this time on regrets there at the end of the podcast. They surely can drag you down, and make you miss out on what you have going for you, ie. children, family, friends etc........ Looking forward to more, always makes me want to be and do better each day.
Great work guys! Keep it up!
Wife says “Go ahead.” This is not permission. This is a dare.
This advice has helped save my marriage. Thank you! ❤
The Q&A were great.
Thank you for 29:09 🙏🏻
Great podcast! Keep going :)
Listening in 2023
watch you six with your Jocko shirt on he might flank you lol , and Echo wont forget the duck-tape. hes on point with that shit. GET AFTER IT!! great podcast loved it! thanks guys keep it up
Way good stuff Men! I've been working my way through these podcasts. I'm on 30, whoo-hooo... but man this has been so influential in my life. I'm reading the The Forgotten Highlander now.
GET AFTER FOLKS!!
I bought the discipline is freedom shirt but its going to be two weeks before I get it :-(
y'all should make a tshirt that has prioritize and execute on the front and get after it on the back that would be sweet!
Awesome T-shirt, and awesome podcast, as always. To bad i dont have amazon at my country so i could support you guys that way. Donation will suffice :)
Echo: but, but, but..what if...how about...
jocko: prioritize and execute.
😄
29:10 Simple....but remember Simple and Easy are NOT the same. It is simple to work out in the morning, just get up earlier, but if you want to know how hard it is...just wait until that alarm goes off, then suddenly the difference between simple and easy becomes starkly apparent. Simple does not mean Easy.
Well said. Sad, but true.
i left a splinter in my palm and my hand became infected get the splinter out echo!lol
Haha echos voice 😂😂😂 keep up the good work lads
It's always the dude with the biggest arms in the room lol
Jocko is my idol.
Mr. Willink I, have a question. The one thing that stands out at me when I see the SEALs do their thing is that they have the ability to learn things really quickly. Mr. Heben once said on a tv show is that he can learn all about a certain subject in one day. Essentially, my question is, how do you guy learn things so quickly? On the Discovery Channel, I saw a class learn things like demolition, or marksmanship or shooting, all sort of stuff. How do you not get bogged down or get lost in the material and how do you do it so darn quickly? Also, how do you do those "rolly polly" pull up clime on those multi level wooden platforms?
I am a man but compared to Jocko I am definitely a woman.
lmao bro... this made my day
The moment I started bjj I always wanted to be the white belt who would tap blue belts instead of the blue belt who gets tapped by white belts...always tried and still try to wear a dark, solid colored belt if you know what I mean.
I wish Jocko would have given an example of what "flanking" looks like in a pragmatic sense. Like when the wife uses her buzz word, it seems like saying anything at all or even just remaining silent is going to make them even more angry.
Damn it I am only on episode 12 I am trying to catch up
Don't worry about the backlog. I've listened each episode a couple times because I pick up new things and reinforce things I forgot.
Is it just me? Cos i feel so strangely connected to this guy
Myself also and echo too sometimes he's hilarious!
Love the way that Jocko brings him back on track "No we are not bringing that person into this podcast " LOL!
The question is asked at: 29:17
I heard Echo got wounded after comparing Jocko Willink to Ophra’s assistant 😂😂
"Oprah!" Echo Charles....😅
can't grab it if your out of stock.....
Somebody else overgrabbed. This incident should have foretold what later happened in toilet paper Chernobyl of Covid.
Podcastshiboha!
Lol I'm up to to #2
Wow
Jocko, did you fight with your wife? And I am not talking about Jiu Jitsu..
Echo Charles ... dropped the ball... say no to Oprah
Hey joko what do i do if my wifes slowly turned into a joyless beast
💩 GOOD SHIT GUYS 💩
Which one of you is the pathological leg piston champion?Camera must be attached to table.
Putting my money on Echo. He has little nervous habits evident on camera already, such as twiddling/clicking a pen.
I get why they call him Echo. Dude yells into the mic.
14:30
15:11 Jocko. exe has crashed
jocko no like oprah
In my opinion Charles is the true epitome of the stereotype - "all brawn, no brains." Jocko, on the otherhand, is a true badass. Thank you for your service sir.
One comment about "temper". Losing your temper is not a sign of "weakness". You'll never be able to control your temper through the sheer force of your will...no matter how "tough" you are. And no amount of "reasoning" or "logic" will help you to control your temper. The bottom line is that we lose our temper because we're sinful humans. The root cause is that we set ourselves up as idols, and we lose our temper when we feel we aren't being "worshiped" properly. The ONLY true cure for a "temper" is true salvation through Jesus Christ (of the Christian Bible). When we correct the hierarchy in our lives - putting God first, ourselves last, others correctly placed between, we can actually start to address any temper issues we may have, regardless of how bad they are.
