Mulching with My prunings and whatnot.... and by the way, I DID plant the carrots IN THE MIDDLE this 2024 season with the beans on the outter perimeter. There's been no flowering or harvests yet though, so I still have yet to see if that is a better setup.

Hi. I was able to find and use the Dollar Tree water toy you shared in another video. I use it to remove standing water when I water my plants. Thank you for sharing.

That burgundy lettuce is MY FAVORITE REDLEAF OF ALL TIME!! I have YET TO BE SUCCESSFUL growing onion bulbs though. Folks act like kritters are repelled by onion, BUT LET ME TELL YOU: I must have some mofos OVER HERE because I put them in an IN-GROUND planter since they SUPPOSEDLY repel kritters ONLY TO FIND THEM *REPEATEDLY* DUG UP EVERY DOGGONE DAY!! And SOMETIMES EVEN PLACED IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT AREA THAN WHERE THEY WERE PLANTED! Meanwhile, ERRRbody AND THEY MAMA'NEM, both experienced AND novices, are out here with onions FOR DAAAAAYS!
I'M NEVER GIVING UP -- but I SWEAR I'm is TYED of tussling!!!! 🥵 (Throws toddler tantrum) I want Me some RED BULB ONIONS AND I WANNA USE THE GREEN STALKS FOR CHIVES THROUGHOUT THEIR GROWTH PERIOD!!!
I think that's a unique video idea. I think I'mma do a video on all the commonly EASY-TO-GROW plants THAT I STRUGGLE WITH because I *MOST DEFINITELY* have AT LEAST A HANDFUL of'em that everyone else seems to grow almost effortlessly!

that carrot is ready for whatever dish - or raw. so what were you eating? i bought straw to use as mulch...its still in the original shipping box.

It HAD TO BE either snowpeas or tomatoes I was snackin' on 'cause that's the only thing that was harvestable by then, lol.
Be careful with the straw. You probably know more about it but Me, but a few years ago I read some conflicting information on using hay vs. straw to mulch.
This was probably around the same time I had JUST gotten earbuds for My new phone but the device I was using wasn't compatible, so I wasn't yet into the habit of using the mic with the earbuds for the garden videos.
What I NEED TO DO is invest in a cordless mic, but Mister is gonna want me to choose one and I just want a cheap 'lil something that works 'cause I ain'gon be all over the place with it anyway. I'm still working to get better with the muddled audio portions.
