      Lamentations 3:26 (KJV):
"It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord."
This verse emphasizes the virtue of patiently waiting for God's deliverance or salvation.

@@TashaBlack8506 Very true, just got to keep in mind that GOD is LOVE and there won’t be a perfect man but there will be a perfect man for us. So even if we discern a fault in him, that’s God showing us he falls short in this area and allowing us to see if we are willing to deal with where he falls short and build and grow with him while God works on where he falls short.
Prime example Keyshia Kaoir, everybody thought she was crazy for sticking around with fat, thugged out, CHEATING, in and out of prison Gucci, but she could deal with that while God worked on all of those things. Now imagine if she had left him and he became what he is to her now for another women. Not saying that she wouldn’t have found someone else but God was all in the transformation of Gucci and Keyshia was the last women standing and now he realizes that and values that and takes her everywhere he goes.

People are already overly focused on themselves. Even chasing after others is a self seeking effort. The Bible says to deny yourself. New age spirituality, while sounding innocent, is unbiblical and keeps creeping into Christian theology.

As followers of Christ, let’s seriously cover these ladies in prayer. I pray they are filled with the Holy Spirit and fear of God to where those strongholds are broken from their spirits. Please focus on living a righteous life for God instead of trying to bridge the gap with culture and trying to make Christianity “look fun.” NO ONE is saying you need to be perfect, but you should be peculiar/set apart from the world. We don’t want you being comfortable living in sin. Don’t let the enemy deceive you all into thinking this conversation is confirmation that what you’re doing is okay when you know it goes against God’s word and will for your life. Don’t play with His grace!

They do have the Holy Spirit in their lives hence why they are changing. God’s processing through their deliverance and transformations. They are young in the faith but they are involved in faith communities and are really striving g to please God. Just pray that they keep getting stronger I their faith. Stop acting like you were not once there. You didn’t change overnight. And judging from your comment God still has some heart work to do in you,

B was on point with saying we do things backwards when it comes to walking with God and that is so true! I always say that some churches have a way of teaching us a backwards way of walking with God where they push acceptance of the results of a relationship with God instead of displaying realness and humanity !! And guiding ppl on how to allow God in those real and human times in life.. I’ve experienced that and it left me confused and more focused on looking like something instead of truly walking it out. I didn’t have anyone properly guiding me on my walk with God and it took me leaving church to really understand what relationship with God really looks like and how to accept it’s authenticity without the pressures of trying to make it “perfect” or “acceptable”. After 7 years of not belonging to or consistently attending church i finally found my new church home ❤❤

Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Great conversation! God is looking for our hearts not behaviour modification.
I think it's also worth considering that when you make a bold public declaration that you are a Christian, you inadvertently sign up to a certain standard especially having a huge influence. People look upto you and you could be the reason someone gets to know the Lord or conforms to a compromised lifestyle because if this person who's a Christian is doing it, it also means it's right for me to do it. Alternatively, you could do your faith walk in private in that way, no one will hold you to any standard.

      @lemogangmonnahela9091 Місяць тому +1

@@ashleyshuler I hear you but that's where we get to the work of the Holy Spirit where he starts giving us new desires, and it's a journey for all of us.. Killing the flesh is not easy no matter how much we want to spiritualize it. Remember how Paul says in Romans 7, "the things I want to do, I don't do".
However, that transformative work gets impeded and delayed if we continue to fill ourselves with worldliness after professing Christ cs, if we are not filling ourselves with the word, praying and really desiring it then we will look like these so called worldly Christians who like the phrase "Only God can judge me" and similar when people try to hold them accountable.

Crystal, I’ve been feeling this really strong urge forcing me to share what I've been suppressing 😩 but it won't go away… I feel called to tell you, to keep your options open and not to put all your hopes on one person. I get the sense that you sometimes do that-fully investing in someone too soon. Adding all your eggs to one basket.
This London ting, he seems like a good person. There’s a positive energy around him. I’m even picking up that he played basketball overseas, possibly in Japan, and now he’s involved in coaching or scouting maybe both. He’s charming, and there’s nothing bad about him, but something inside me tells me he’s not the one God has for you. He’s part of the journey, but he’s not the destination. Whether you’re still talking to him or if things have faded already, just know that God has someone amazing in store for you.
This person will be so aligned with who you are at your core and who you’re becoming-it’s going to feel right on every level. Listen, you won't have to save him, he’ll save you. He’s on his way.
Just stay open, stay patient, and know that the love you deserve, the kind that will truly blow your mind, is coming. The best part is that it’s going to be even more than you’ve dreamed of. Girl, because the best is yet to come.

It’s not for me but may be for some. And I love that for them

I'm watching this podcast in November but it is so needed for " Christians" and non believers because we as a people and Generations can be so judgemental an I'm working on myself with this constantly to make sure that I don't deter anyone from being who they are. I pray that all journey's are what God needs them to be at the end of the day cause the journey is real but we are DIFFERENT. God bless and keep up the great work.

You must don’t read your Bible and the 11 people that agree with you ! If you saw your friend stealing, Prostituting , killing someone you wouldn’t correct them or hold them accountable???? or you would say live your life girl only God can judge ???? That’s not judging at all . Idk why yall always bring that up when you can clearly judge but righteously. What’s the whole point in going to church if yall don’t want people rebuking you or giving you kingdom advice ?? Everyone can be WASHED and RESTORED but yall want to stay stuck and die in your sin . Read the Bible or before trying to preach to someone . I had a whole child when I wasn’t married but I asked the lord for forgiveness and never made that decision again , that doesn’t mean I can keep doing it because of his grace . Grace runs out and yall taking advantage of it . I will not respond to whatever you say cause the word is true and I won’t judge someone that’s doing what I’m doing but I can most definitely give advice on something I been delivered from and that’s not judgement. That’s what God want us to do

Love loved this conversation! Thank you both.
Hi B. Simone! Such a small piece of feedback, but I think it would make a difference to say "makes me want to..." as opposed to "makes you want to..." or "you just want to" - I definitely understand pulling people into the same/similar framework of mind or the camaraderie aspect of 'we probably experience the same thing so I probably speak for both of us when I say' kind of feeling, but I think taking ownership of personal statements through specificity of language is so important in conversation to leave room. It's a thing a lot of people do, and maybe people don't mind or really notice, but in my experience of facilitating dialogue one of the first community agreements to show up is "using 'I/my/me' statements" to avoid generalizing or speaking for another person

I’m hate to say but the 2024 version of Christianity makes excuses for our weak areas. To acknowledge that there is a chance to fall is different than simply making room for the error to occur and labeling it in a human experience. There are areas you can set boundaries in order not to find yourself in sin and to find it humerus is sad. Noone should hide behind any of their faults because there is no condemnation in Christ but let’s stop stretching God’s grace to give room for intentional sin. Just because you’re honest about your sin still gives the same results. A building filled with “unbelieving “ believers with no proof of a transformed life. Just a social club on Sunday.

I lovedddd this episode. So relatable. And let me tell you. As someone who was farrrrr on the churchy side, being in the middle is actually right where you remain in humble humanity. Think about AA. The best sponsors are the ones who know they can mess up tomorrow. Sober 20 years and done in a day. So they approach everyone w grace. Only those who THINK they got it would judge those who mess up. And ironically those are the ones who mess up in secret. Ignore the haters. The Lord sees your heart. In your realness, you seek Him more. The extremes are actually not even somewhere to aspire to. God will allow you both to bless people RIGHT where you are
