    I'm a very strong person, I have swung a sledge like that many times, but the ease and accuracy he is doing it, makes me feel like I should never pick up a sledge again lol

      Thank you - although roughing out one, maybe two sets of tongs with the sledge is about all I've got in me for a day 🙂

    I have a pair of wolf jaw tongs that I forged for myself and I use them all the time. However I like your design better I will need to make a pair of these for myself thanks for sharing and nice work godbless and be safe.

      The longer jaws and the slightly off front tooth. I think that is a good idea just incase the front teeth failed for some reason you could always repair it and get back to work.

    I really enjoyed this session. Have some flat jaw blanks that I could not decide what to do with them…looks like they will be wolf jaws!

    Very nice set of Tongs. Great material sucker rod, most is 4140-4130.

      We are fortunate to live close-ish to the oil fields so it it is commonly used around our area for fencing and corrals . Thanks for subscribing!

    why would you use a power hammer when your making a tutorial for beginners ?

      I show all of the important steps by hand. Drawing out by hand is a skill you should knoow before attempting to make tongs. Thanks for watching.
