Sorry this one came out a little late. I uploaded the wrong version by mistake. Hopefully It does better than the engine pull video. It's one of my favorites but the worst preforming video to date!
A tip from when i had to pull the driveshafts on my 96. You can stretch a plasic glove over the inner joint to keep it clean and keep all the bearings in one place!
Hi! Last time I posted this UA-cam deleted the comment. I have lots of sonett parts, parted out two cars for my personal inventory but selling my 73 Sonett in a couple weeks. I’m in NW Ohio and willing to ship, have tail lights listed on e bay right now and you can contact me through there, otherwise I’ll figure out how to get you my phone number on here without the world finding it haha. If you need something I won’t price gouge either (tail lights listed high on ebay but I’m only wanting half the listed amount). Have transmission and engine stuff too, windshield, doors, suspension etc. Let me know if you’re interested in anything.
Or I could just give it to you: Ludicrous_Speedway_Pit_lane@protonmail.com I split this text up just because I've seen my own stuff lost. It's annoying that's for sure.
I do have a plan that would involve getting more intimate with this transmission in the future, so I'd like to do it myself, but outsourcing it is certainly an option. I actually emailed him a few weeks back about successfully replicating the lock cylinder for the ignition. And I was curious if any other saab people would be interested in that. I haven't heard back, but it wouldn't hurt to try again.

Excited to see your plans unfold
Me too, thanks for sticking around!
It wouldn't be a SAAB without things being weird, different, unusual or outright incomprehensible. All part of the charm of them
They've certainly won me over.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when it all goes back together.

I sent my transmission to Budd Clarke to be rebuilt - maybe you can do the same?
