I am crazy for those Lancaster Coronas boxes! For the Amish grown tobacco cigars...that is a great graphic inside the lid! You are always the best tour guide Renee, such a pleasure!
I wasn't born yet when Mount St. Helens erupted (6 years too early) but since I was born in Washington state, my parents remember it vividly. When my mom gifted me her vintage Christmas ornaments, included was one made out of Mount St. Helen's ash. I treasure it still.
The white envelope thing is a ring holder. Usually for nice rings. I have one that came from a nice jewelry store with a gold ring inside. It was a gift when I was a teenager.
great estate sale! I would migrate to the tiny things in boxes and drawers too. so glad you could save some for us to see and admire and to sell or keep for yourself.
I love the box of little do dads! So happy to see estate sales are going pretty strong there. I love it when you find stuff. Hope you do well with all your finds!!
Some great purchases I think the T-shirt from the film cool running is awesome. I think you did the right thing not going at the start it's just not worth all the stress. Take care
What a fun sale. Love the artwork you picked up, do wish you had shown them as I couldn't make out what the second one was. The many cigar boxes!! I would have been dumping out the contents just for the boxes lol.
Hi. Renee. I see you got some things at the State sale. I do liked the t-shirt the said Not Made Of Money. It is true. We are not made of money, but we all give to charity, and we donate as well. Thank you so much for sharing this video. God Bless you Renee. Be safe. Maria.❤❤💞💞💗💗💝💝🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
The little white snap pouch held a wedding band. My parents were married in '54 and they have them. We had a lot of ash from Mt. St Helen's the year I lived in Calgary. Great treasures.
I was here in Washington when the mountain blew. It was amazing! We could see it! We lived through the ash, there was tons of it and it lasted for so long.
I'm in Connecticut and yes I even recognize that company name being batted around here back years ago between my uncles during the holidays plus I had relatives from Pennsylvania. Kinda like Pratt & Whitney here . . . world known 🚁✈ along with Groton boat ⛲ everybody know someone who worked there ! Ya did good in those tight quarters 👊💪👍
I work at a estate sale business an if the family ask we set aside the day before a couple hours for the family to get what they wanted. An i have a habit of searching an setting aside personal items.
Great finds and it seemed relaxing. Glad you were able to find so much. It looks like there was a lot there. I too always feel sorry for families that have to sell everything off. It’s so hard. Stay safe and thanks for the another great video. ❤️
Some cool goodies. I know Ingersoll-rand, I’m a BIG race fan. they are in Houston Tx now. 🤔🤷🏻♀️. Oh neat porky pig. Lol I had a cool Bahamas shirt. Ha. Nice pencil box of great things. Those buttons 😲 ‼️🇺🇸🇺🇸 ~ Texas
Hi Renee, Great time at estate sale, especially finding local and regional history. I have heard the stories about the bullets striking the Bibles... wonder if there ever was an actual tally of how many that happened to? Stay safe with all of the rain!
I learned you don't have to get there first by watching some of the old timers that always walked in late and still found cool things! Very important tip. I used to not drive to a flea market if I wouldn't make it when it opened. Not anymore! Lovely vid.

@@PaperandMoose I couldn't log in to comments the other day Renee when you had your curbside treasure video with the bats. Always glad when you can pick up some P-Burg stuff. I did hear the Ingersol-Rand steam whistle is being restored. Sorry you can't sell the Christmas linens, just keep them.
LOL I had forgotten the passive exercise fad 🤦🏼♀️ In the 80’s through the early 90’s, they had exercise places for lazy people. You would lay on a table and it literally lifted your legs or vibrated your entire body to sleep. There was also one that had 2 raised squares and it lifted one butt cheek then the other there were a plethora of other tables but those stuck in my head 😂🤣😂.... My Mother bought a membership to a local one . She could have a visitor so I went once, needless to say I had a hard time keeping a straight face. The tables were not designed for that use of course. They are used in PT /OT gyms. They are helpful for spinal cord passive exercise as well as other rehab patients. Somehow they caught on as a fad exercise gym for people that didn’t want to expend any energy 😆
I collect dog figurines, and two of the dogs are made from volcanic ash, too. One from an Alaskan volcano, and one from Mt. St. Helens. I’m glad you had a stress free estate sale pickings. ✌🏼❤️
05:30 Yup. Hope you snagged the old Catholic prints; they sell here at least. 05:59 Barbie yacht! I had one as a kid. I'm glad you at least rescued the IR stuff. I always love looking up in the rafters and in the crawlspace at Estate sales. I have to say I wish you would have got the Christmas linens and put them on your Etsy for us collectors.
Gr8 Estate Sale find's Rene.. The Mother Mary religious print's were very nice and very desirable.. Also love the OSHIT Sweatshirt..😂 that was a fun find.. Very well done.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
Loved that little plate with Porky on it. That girl above his picture is named Petunia. At one time I had two lovebirds and I named them Porky and Petunia. Never underestimate the value of a small plate with a couple of dings. Love to have it.
Thanks for taking us along Renee! What were the pictures in the rafters of the basement? I couldn't get a good look at them. I'm so happy you found some great local items and I love the Mt. St. Helens shirt - a cousin who worked for U.S. Forest Service was one of the first to go back after the eruption and I have a bottle of ash.🙂
They were religious prints, mainly of Mary. My grandmother had a whole bunch of Mt. St. Helens souvenirs, as she visited her brother out in Washington State... I have the scotty dog made of ash, but she also had some wall hanging owls and all sorts of little things.
That basement room would be a nice area for my vintage phonograph and piano collection! Here, so many family owned businesses have gone bye-bye, especially lithograph companies, dairies and breweries, replaced by multi-million, er BILLION tech outfits. Camden was the home of a company dear to my heart and interest...the Victor Talking Machine Company. Eldridge Johnson founded the company in 1901. He built a library, school, housing and parks. The company benefits to workers were ahead of the times. The cigar box of items was quite interesting. Liked the AAA badge.
I had to laugh at that Mt St Helen's shirt....Oshit..... That Looney Toons 3 pc set is cute! To think how old they are now....time sure does fly. I love those cigar boxes. They always seems to be good well made boxes. And yes, that Desert Storm shirt....sure don't see or hear much about that. Nice find! My grandma and grandpa had some utensils that had local businesses on there (the wood handles) so I made sure to take how many of them. You just don't see that kind of stuff anymore.....at least that I'm aware of. I'm glad you had a good anxiety free time at this estate sale.
Great sale, Renee. Thanks for taking us along I have not seen any rummage sales in my area, since 2019. I am keeping my eyes open, though. I think most of them around here were run by the older folks in the churches and they are being extra cautious. I'm excited for the flea market. I travel quite a distance for mine, so I won't go unless the weather is nice. I hate being cold or wet...not my idea of fun.
Hi Renee..What some great finds from the Estate sale..so sad when family is there looking also when it isn't just left to them. 😌 I like that you know your local history and appreciate your area and towns!😉 My boyfriend and soul mate is a Desert Storm naval veteran! Don't come across alot of stuff for that war? What size is that t-shirt and will you list it on ebay? Have a great day and happy treasure seeking!😘😊
Hi Renee! Great video! The t-shirts and and other clothes made by "Oneita" or "Oneida" are from a company named after the indigenous Oneida people from central NYS and later Wisconsin. There is a city called Utica in the county of "Oneida" where the original mills were. It is pronounced like oh-NIGH-duh (with a long i sound). Many wishes for continued success in your venture!
Lol! Love the Mt. St. Helens shirt. I don’t remember seeing that one in particular, but I did have one that said “ Where were you when the mountain blew?” That shirt is local history for me. Great haul at the estate sale. Not many garage sales, just Estate sales around here.
Hi Renee.Love you girl! I am reaching out to my 5 favorite resellers to ask a question. My mom just recently gifted me a pretty good amount of retired/vintage Swarovski Crystal figurings. Upon looking than map they have a lot of value and I am not sure what platform I should sell them on. I am afraid if I put them on eBay people will nickel and dime me and I won't get anywhere close to what the real value is. Any suggestions? Ty for being you and bringing Knowledge and great finds to us. You rock.
The thread in your Halloween bag is embroidery floss-used to be used for crewel work, is commonly used in friendship bracelets now. Thats the stronger older stuff, a great deal @$1!
Last time we visited family in PA we were amazed at the warehouses mile after mile. It is a shame that the beautiful countryside is full of them for what seems miles. Good finds!
Our defunct mall is also going to be torn down for warehouses... while the mall was in such a sad shape, it's a shame that we are subjected to another huge warehouse...
The Bassett Walker label in the clothing is orginally from Bassett VA. I lived in Bassett for awhile. It is in southern Virginia They also had a furniture factory and mirror that some of my family worked at
If at a sell and anyone hears a family member is looking for something they could say"Not to be nosey but what are you looking for? Maybe I will see it while looking at items. Then I can let you know." You may get rewarded in one way or another. Just seeing someone made happy by your actions could be your reward.
I saw the AAA stickers as you were going through a box of smalls. I had a very profitable sale on eBay with a set of those stickers. Literally paid $1.00 - probably less than, because they did bulk pricing on the last day of the sale. Mine were a set of "state" stickers given out by a well-known oil company/filling station. They take up very little space for resellers who have limited storage and some of them can be quite sought after and profitable. Agree with you totally on arrival time at a sale. If it's a large enough sale, there will always be something to pick up. Thanks for taking us along!
Cool finds! I can't believe someone didn't pick up all of the Fisher Price pieces. I would have filled up a bag just getting them. My grandchildren are at an age where they can play with the vintage FP, but it's so expensive on ebay.
my dear son turned 18 on the way over to desert storm. we collected a lot of the stuff for sale then. it was a difficult time. i was sooo happy to see him home!
There was a Halloween cartoon, with Huey, Dewey and and Louie and Donald and their run in with a genuine witch on Halloween. I loved that cartoon and that Halloween bag reminded me of it. Back in the fifties my Dad used to smoke Bering cigars, I remember everyone smoked then. Movies were full of smokers( not the theaters, the films) and bars were full of smokers ,even Doctors smoked, we don't do it much today, the campaign against Tobacco Ads worked, I couldn't stand Pipes ,cigars or cigarettes, I was an endurance athlete and didn't need that. Guess it worked, I was born in 1942. Cheers, Rik
Great finds. Ingersoll Rand had a place in my town. They bought a locally owned family corporation called S & S Machinery. It employed a lot of people too. There is an interesting story about this buyout and what became of the company. I'll get the information to you. Great piece of history of my small town. Keep the great stories coming!
I think I will gift each family member their favourite things before I am called to go back to the big universe (hopefully I have lots of time for that) but I just think going through stuff with people already at the sale is difficult for everybody.
Yep, same...when I feel myself declining (unless I die suddenly), I'll let remaining family/friends get what they want. I don't want my family to have this chore.
Great Amish and cigar boxes! Loved doll buggy! Watching you dig in rafters was fun! Lots of interesting finds!

It is in southern Virginia They also had a furniture factory and mirror that some of my family worked at
I loved IR equipment that I had over the years!
If at a sell and anyone hears a family member is looking for something they could say"Not to be nosey but what are you looking for? Maybe I will see it while looking at items. Then I can let you know." You may get rewarded in one way or another. Just seeing someone made happy by your actions could be your reward.
I did inquire, but they had found the shirts before me. I found a photo album and passed it along to them, just in case they wanted to keep that too.
Awesome estate sale! I'm also ready for spring!
Lovely items. I'm always curious about the families. Glad they were able to sell some items to go tonew homes.
Glad that he made it home from his tour & thanks for his service!
Movies were full of smokers( not the theaters, the films) and bars were full of smokers ,even Doctors smoked, we don't do it much today, the campaign against Tobacco Ads worked,
I couldn't stand Pipes ,cigars or cigarettes, I was an endurance athlete and didn't need that.
Guess it worked, I was born in 1942.
Cheers,
Rik
Love the Mt St Helens shirt.
St. Helens shirt is great.
Those Amish cigar boxes were cool!
I didn't think Amish and cigars could even been in the same sentence! 😄
@@juanitafruehling2039 Me too!
That is what a relative of mine did...whenever anyone would visit, she would tell them to take something with them. Made it much easier!
Yes that is a lovely idea, will also do them as gifts when people visit rather the one day I won't be here talk.
