- I show you the easiest way to change your oil and filter for a w203 Mercedes Car. This applies to many models that have an M112 engine.
Thanks for the awesome video‼️
Sea foam should be added and run for just about a few hundred kms in the oil. Then the oil/sea foam mix should be drained when hot and the system should be filled with new oil (just oil or an additive) with a new filter and left for the full service interval prescribed in the owner’s manual.
Sea foam is not a full time additive, its a cleaner and don’t ruin your new oil with that. Just add sea foam to your existing old oil a few hundred kms before you are due for an oil change and then change it up quickly when due.
Good video 👍
Sir, im using seafoam to run the engine for 50 miles then drain it out with together with the dirty oil. Then fill her up with clean oil and added 1 quart of marvel mistery oil as oil additive. It runs great
Thanks!, very easy. 30 minutes job.
I take about 45 minutes. While the oil is being extracted I'm checking around the car.
What is the location of the 2008a3 2.0TDI air filter?
Yes it was real easy. And it look like we have the same engine
That's not how you use Seafoam for the oil.... You're supposed to use it before you change your oil as Seafoam removes deposits and it makes your oil significantly dirtier.
thank you
I usually put some in about 50 miles before I change my oil and let that run its course.
Grrrreattt!!!
Will this method work for a cls500?

Why 'SeaFoam' ?
there are a few reasons to use seafoam (or any brand) motor treatment. It can usually help dissolve and clean fuel and oil residues and deposits
I ask because I have left my car in an underground car park since last July and expect to run it up next month when I get back to UK. In your opinion, will it be too late to add a fuel additive?
i'm not an expert, but I have a feeling your car will be perfectly fine with or without an additive engine treatment, and maybe some basic maintenance checks should be enough
High quality fuel (we call it Premium here in the States) with at least a 91 octane rating will last in your tank for about two years.
If you put in cheap regular octane fuel, get ready for about an 800 Euro bill from your local MB dealer to clean out your fuel injection system along with new fuel injectors. You
Should have put in long term fuel stabilizer, it costs about 5 Euros for a 6 oz bottle.
Good luck.
