Are there Golden Trout in Coyote Flats?

Welcome to the rugged wilderness of Coyote Flats, where the air is thin and the trout are elusive. Our intrepid group of overlanding buddies has embarked on a quest to catch the legendary golden trout, a species that can only be found in these high-altitude waters.
As they make their way up the rocky terrain, they've come prepared with their fishing gear and a sense of adventure, but will it be enough to conquer these challenging waters?
The scenery is breathtaking, with jagged peaks rising in the distance and crystal-clear streams flowing through the valley. It's a reminder of the beauty that nature has to offer and the importance of preserving it for generations to come.
But our adventurers are not here just to admire the view. They're on a mission to catch the elusive golden trout, a fish that requires skill, patience, and a bit of luck. Will they be able to reel one in?

Man I love this drive! I need to do it again. That spot between the 2 boulders at 3:15 is one of the most memorable moments for me.

I did this same trip with my dad back in the mid 80's. look pretty much how I remember it. those golden are nearly florescent pink on the inside.

Nicely done Doc! I’ve always wanted to get up into the Coyote Flats area, but not sure I’d want to tow the trailer up that steep loose section 😬

Coyote Flats is an amazing place!!!! The one time we went, we stayed at Funnel Lake. Great vids as always.
