That NBA season was one of the greatest seasons of all time. Start to Finish. Everything was absolutely incredible. And then KD went to the Warriors and I stopped watching basketball for 2.95 years.
I actually stopped watching for a while too after that. I really wanted that Thunder team to win it all and KD leaving to go to the team that knocked him out of the playoffs just killed my passion for it along with the Knicks being garbage for most of my nba watching years.

Huge Thunder fan this was played in like February of that season but man it felt like a playoff game going back and forth I remember like it was last night watching with my friends when he hit that shot I fell out of my chair. I could not BELIEVE it. I knew right then that Steph was the greatest shooter I’ve ever seen.
I remember that time...the game was 9am in my country..and we had a forum to attend to at 0930H, couldn't watch it live..but I'm keeping check with live score...by third when OKC was up I though this game was done deal...then we had to take the activities for the forum..this took my mind off the game...when I remember to check the game I was shocked and so happy that I jumped off my chair and everyone was looking at me...and even happier when I watched the highlights "Bang!! Bang!!" Indeed.

The absolute confidence an individual has to take that shot is incredible because those type of shots were not the norm at that time. Only a select few dared take that shot but not even from that range. It is a tribute to the time, dedication, and intelligence Steph Curry has put into his craft.
He keeps this up, the NBA's gonna have to make a 5-point line; possibly from behind midcourt! The thing I love most about this iconic shot in particular was that Kerr kept a timeout in his pocket and trusted in Curry instead of trying to set up a "higher percentage" play!
My dad and I won raffle tickets outside the arena for this game. Best live event of any kind I've ever been to. Way better than getting sent home from the Jazz game last year!
I'm glad this game is being revisited. I'm a die hard OKC fan, been watching NBA for over 25 years, and can say without a doubt this was the best regular season game I've ever watched. Not only because of the ending, but all the stars played so well.
