I lost him to a self inflicted gunshot wound back in the day when depression was so poorly understood and treated. It has been 40 years and I've never found a love like what we had since but I can play a Dire Straits song and he's so alive for me once again. I love u Rob wherever u r and pray you've found the happiness that eluded u in life. I will c u again I'm sure of it. Thanks for posting this

This is one of the greatest lead breaks ever. Soulful, extremely melodic and flawlessly executed. The key to Marks greatness as a guitarist is that he recorded with the legendary Chet Atkins. Says everything.
Pick Withers was a big inspiration to me. I switched to Tama and Paiste and still play em to this day! Pick kinda faded into oblivion in the 80s and no one knows where he went
