when i listen to this, i get chills down my spine. henry gray IS the blues. i'm 15 and i don't live in the U.S.A. how the hell can i see this man live before he dies?
Thank you for posting this great footage. These men represent in their lives hundreds and hundreds of years playing the blues in studios and on stages all over the world. God bless you Calvin 'Fuzz' Jones, George 'Wild Child' Butler and Hubert Sumlin. RIP.
The reason why these artists never rec any award is plain. They ain't smoothy enough. This is the thruth you see, bitter, humor, emotional, not knowing where to stay or feeling pain and stand on stage for nothing. In the sixties me and my Brother travelled in Europe with what they called Gems and obscures. The cruelty and poverty we saw is the reason for these music
Hubie Sumlin was a buddy of mine. What a privilege ! Got to play harp on "Killin' Floor" with him once. Today, I lead on vox and harp doing "Commit A Crime" with the band I'm in. We sound better than the Stones ! ...and all credit to Hubie . Sure glad KWS did this tour with these legends. Fuzz, Pinetop, and Wild Child now all gone, too .
Man, this is heaven on Earth.
Take me to *this* church! Every day! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
Absolutely awesome...love this
KWS in taking this “Ten Days Out” tour and recording these musicians on high-quality equipment has left us a lasting legacy. Thank you, Kenny
The sound mix on these songs recorded in this church are so good and powerful WOW !!!! This is blues magic
I opened for Legendary Blues Band back in 81. Calvin was playing bass at the time.
They say the blues is everywhere even in the old Church House 🤜🏽🎶🤛🏽
In very loving memory of Mr. Calvin "Fuzz" Jones (1926 - 2010 R.I.P. Gone but NOT forgotten).
Excellente musique ! très bons musiciens

Thank you, Kenny Wayne Shepherd...
I´ve been at Henry´s first recording session in Germany in the seventies.
These old blues men are great.
Yes go see any and all of the older bluesmen that are still out there like Buddy Guy Robert Cray they are a true treasure
calvvin fuzz jones is my grandad
This is his best work
Kenny Wayne shepherd Best work
So damn good. RIP Henry. Thank You KWS!
Beatiful, Wonderful, Cool.
This CD ranks among my MOST favorite CD's that I own!
One of the great blues performances-
Hubert Sumlin. Legend.
Wild Child has the craziest harp belt. I remember Mojo Buford used a revolver holster for the chromatic
Would have some guessing.... a real harp slinger.
Cool blues!
now this is the way the blues' supposed to sound
Now we are talking about the real thing!!!
Man !!!!!!!!!! I ❤ love this Harmonica sound. Who is that man on the Harp ??
Wild Child Butler on harp.
