It is to cross-check whether the positions of the footings marked by chaining/offsetting using horizontal and vertical distances only are accurate or not.
hello sir my que is when we fully design building in staad or say etabs and in detailing through rcdc when we design footing in rcdc it does not gives us typical dimensions of footing instead it may give diff dimensions for each footing according to load distributed so while making a detailed plan should we use that same dimension or make them approx to have same type of typical dim for all footings
Thank you sir , sir please make a video on how to design rcc building manually in detail ,how in practical a structural designer design a building ,his workflow etc ,it would be really helpful to the students as theres no such detailed videos available on UA-cam
Because I have considered a R.C.C. Framed Structure with Isolated Sloped Footings. Had I considered a Load Bearing Structure, I would have considered a Wall Footing.
@@DrRohanDasgupta , Thank you for your reply good sir! I really needed it... I wish you make more videos about building plans, like all house estimations and what to draw first up to last, also what and how to estimate first and up to last in all.... Thank you!
@@DrRohanDasgupta oooh, okay sir. one more question sir. why is the diagonal check 2 is equal to 10630mm when you added 3000mm , 1000mm, and so on so for? I'm confused, sorryyyy
@@russg.7846 In Diagonal Check 2, - Distance between footings F5 and F12 is (3000+2000+3000) mm = 8000 mm - Distance between footings F10 and F12 is (3000+1000+3000) mm = 7000 mm Now, considering F5-F12 and F10-F12 as two sides of a right angled triangle, the diagonal F5-F10 = √[ (8000)^2 + (7000)^2 ] = 10630 mm

The video makes me to recall as longtime that i graduated from school.
Thanks sir
Which software did you use to draw these plans easily.
Well explained brother ❤️
Also make a video about how to submit submission plan online to get building permission license
thank u bro sutch a great content
Thanks sir very easy trick
sir make a video in layout plan plz
Thank you sir for this video!😋
Sir can we take 3 colmun combine footing??
Yes, you can.
im here bc i cant understand my prof explaination. ty for this
You're welcome. Do share it with your classmates who also maybe struggling to understand the topic.
Please sir my question is what is essence of the diagonal checks?

You have to show different dimensions as found in design.

Sir, why didn't you include the wall and the wall footing?
Because I have considered a R.C.C. Framed Structure with Isolated Sloped Footings.

Hello sir! how do you label a combined foundation? do you label it as one foundation or 2? thanks
You label it as one foundation.

are the measurements (dimensions) from one column to another the standard measurements, sir?
No. It differs from plan to plan.
