I am thinking of buying an Audi A6 2.0 tdi or 2.7 tdi, or 3.0 tdi, between the 160,000 / 190,000 milleage (kms) from 2004 to 2009. I travel, on average, 8,500 km per year. Is this car reliable and am I making a good choice?
For reliability, I suggest you choose 2.7 or 3.0- they are definitely more reliable than 2.0. If you pick 2.7, make sure to avoid multitronic transmission. The fuel consumption of six cylinders is only marginally higher than four cylinder. Hope this helps!

@@jmlmo35 tiptronic is a reliable transmission since it's very simply made, it's a traditional automatic and not cvt/dual clutch. Cheers from the land of Liam Neeson and Van Morrison ☘️

I have one if your interested I'm based in Manchester very well looked after done around 190k miles never let me down strong good engines leather inside heated seats and is a manual not an automatic which in my pov is better.
I've got an a6 with cvt 250,000 miles.
Clearly never owned a multitronic 😂
Thankfully not 😁
