Love this! My husband recently put down a Mexican petunia and it's gorgeous. Poor thing is limp in the heat of the day but early morning and early evening it's beautiful. Continue doing what you love and thank you for sharing with us ❤ Peace is priceless!

Happy Mothers Day! I luv when you take us into your garden. Gardening is my favorite thing to do & place to be. I can't wait to see what you add to your garden this year and change if any. Here in Indiana it rains so much we constantly get thunderstorms with lightening at nite. But I will say everything is green. I pulled in most of my plants last Winter just before the first snow. My plants are my babies. I spend time, energy, effort & money on them not to pull them in my living room. They take up abit of space but I'd cry if I saw anything happen to them. When I left Cali to move to Wyoming I took with me 15 plants, the move in December killed my plants all of them. In Wyoming because it snows 10months out of the year I kept all of them in my big mud room. I brought 20 of them with me to Indiana. Some died waiting on our apartment in a storage unit 9 days. But some survived. I can totally understand how you feel. I hope your having a great Mothers Day Mrs. Eva. Looking forward to your garden video. I started following you in Cheyenne, WY 2019. I just love your garden. I envy all the space you have. This year I may do damage to our sprinkler system because I need to use up some lawn space for more gardening. Like you I have been gardening for years but the appreciation grows with each passing year. I timed my vacations so I can go away and come back in time to plant my vegetables and annuals. I also don’t ever want to sell my home and want to live forever just to garden. I am so addicted to gardening and the aches and pains of it just makes me feel more alive. Sad!?
I love the 3 color dappled willow shrubs. They are unusual and not many people have them. Oh that damn frost, we lost a 20 year old gorgeous camellia bush.😔😭

I have a autum joy clematis and I have to let it be all winter and cut it back in the spring. Maybe try cutting it back and see what happens. Love the pond. I’m like you, give me flowers upon flowers.

Well back, you have been missed. I started gardening during the pandemic and it has been my peace and happy place. I had a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and cannot get in my garden yet due to restriction and its killing me ☹️. Thank goodness my hostas, lilac and azelas don't need me but my other babies are looking a little rough. Your yard is beautiful chaotic mess. I'm here for it 😍.

Clematis - it's a root issue, either root rot or the root was bound inside a seed plug fabric by the nursery. For the rot make sure the next clematis isn't sitting in a potting soil ditch that retains too much water. Check for percolation if you have clay soil underneath it. Propagation fabric was supposed to be biodegradable but it isn't. Look for it on new young plants from a grower and remove it. Your new plant will grow for awhile, then the roots will strangle under binding that hasn't given way.
