I love that this has already been set up in the Wick movies. In Wick 3, we learn that John gets to the U.S thru the ballet school run by Angelica Huston. We've already seen assassins fight dirty. We've seen John fight women (Ms Perkins, the mute assassin) and alongside them (Halle Berry), so this just makes sense. Plus we've seen Ana De Armas kick ass in No Time To Die 🔥🔥🔥
It's not really a surprise that Keanu Reeves is in this movie because they already announced that he was going to be part Ballerina plus his name is in the credit 😂 haha...This film taking place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.... And if the film do as well producer Erica Lee stated that the studio has tentative plans to develop a sequel starring Ana de Armas.

I love Ana De Armas. I always felt after Grey Man and Blade Runner..she just to me has a good vibe as assassin and I love that she will be playing side by side with Keanu Reeves.
It makes sense that her character's fighting style is similar to what we have seen from Wick, even down to the way they hold and use guns since they both learned from the same place. I love that detail, even if it would seem obvious, but other movies might look over that.

When I was cruising the Med in '78 with the Marines, I could not have foreseen the changes coming to Europe. Our commanders did advise against talking politics with the locals.

Actually I just remember that scene where younger (kid) Ana de Armas was recruited by Winston "played by Ian McShane" kind of reminds me or sort of similar to the scene of "SALT 2010" where Evelyn Salt "played by "Angelina Jolie" was recruited to be trained as a Russian spy(?) after her parents died in car accident or something. Both scenes have similarities like kid in this movie and in Salt movie both came from an accident based on the blood on the head of younger (kid) Ana de Armas and been approach by a mysterious man.
When she asks John Wick "how do i learn how to do what you do?", i think it's about more than just his skills,but how does he cope.Everyone in the profession knows "Baba Yaga",and what brought him back was vengeance from mourning and loss..She seems to want to know how not to lose herself to the carnage in HER quest..I hope that they DON'T use him too much as a crutch,I'd like to see her shine.The trailer is fantastic,i got all of that out of watching it once!

I don't see The Continental as part of the John Wick Universe. Winston doesn't even have an English accent in that prequel miniseries. They showed a clip of John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum when Wick seeks asylum in Casablanca Rooney sees him. This takes place between Parabellum and Chapter 4. The final time Lance Reddick reprises his role as Charon in the John Wick universe. Rooney is a woman of Focus, Commitment and Sheer F****** Will. Rooney was introduced in the first few minutes of Parabellum was portrayed by real-life ballet dancer.
I wouldn’t be sad to see Keanu have a bigger role in this. In fact, I’m half expecting some kind of meet-cute between him and Bridget Moynahan towards the end of the film. Maybe set up by Ana de Armas’ character. But this trailer definitely has me jazzed.
I think I might be one of a few people who actually liked the Continental miniseries prequel. I don't understand the hate it gets. I'd recommend it. As for Ballerina, I'm completely on board with this. I'm a John Wick fan and I love Ana De Armas. I'm a Keanu fan as well, but I'm hoping his involvement is limited here because I don't want it to get in the way of her story.
I think we are going to see John from her perspective more and how the other characters feel about him, he will be like this OG character I mean the title is FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK: BALLERINA not just Ballerina so it's like how much see admire him and want to be like this legend
I like the fact that she has to fight dirty to win, that they dont make the woman protagonist this unbelievably strong character, who can throw around 6.5 men with ease. This is how they should do women action characters proper (Hawkeyes Kate Bishop...I´m looking at you) This looks pretty awesome, and like a lot of fun!
What I like most is that they didn't change the protagonist, they create a Universe! It is the most clever way to continue the action movies (in contrast with the st****pidity of nowdays in Hollywood) with different actors until they fail or the viewers get bored. Also with the martial art and the use of guns it does fit for a woman main character.
I think John Wick will probably play a role similar to Hallie Berry's character in JW3 (Not Jehovah's Witness 3) where they have one main setpiece fight scene and then he leaves and let her get on with it.
The female version of John Wick but Ana De Armas was perfect for this role she suits such roles very well but even though Keano Reeves will appear here but without him this world of John Wick will not survive they will simply destroy this universe without him
Sadly this is the last thing we will ever see Lance Reddick in. RIP
