One reason for this change is that the WICKED org of the movie doesn't have the level of technology required as the book counterpart does.
"That's always code for death" 😂😂😂 omg these pitch meetings never fail to surprise me
Seems like a missed opportunity to not mention how sneaking into an abandoned mall, turning on the power, and attracting zombies was ALSO lifted right from The Last of Us since you point out the Clickers.
Ai is getting so good. I could barely tell that wasn't actually Ryan speaking at the end.
Ryan, you should totally make a pitch for the new D&D movie!
Dropping everything I am currently doing to watch a new pitch meeting is super easy barely inconvenience!
I think people don't give enough credit to ... the credits
They're really awesome (avoiding the tight line, check), keep going some of us don't skip them and love them
Great stuff! I love how misleading the movie title is. "We're not really doing 'The'." ROFL.
I saw both of these movies. Can confirm, 1 was confusing and left the viewer hanging, and 2 was...a thing. Kinda. I don't know. It's confusing and stupid and I don't care anymore. I need some ice cream to make me feel better.
These books are seriously so good. Cramming 5 books into 3 subpar movies is weird. They left out things that kept me reading
I agree.
And I add this. Sadly most book adaptations are missing too much, they should focus on getting it right and more people would spend money to see the movie.
@@74jojo unfortunately book adaptations are usually just a quick money grab or just borrowing the name with a completely different story
The books are hot garbage... they would have been impossible to make into good films.
I liked first 2 films, but the 3rd was horrible. Is/Are the final book(s) as bad?
5 wow assumed 3...
Funny how 3 movies get stretched into 4 movies...
Our world 😅
i always look to thursdays because of videos like these that are hilarious and has ryan george
Ryan uploading is tight!
I love Vent Boy.
He's so *e-vent-ful.*
get out....
I used to be an ad-vent-urer like you...
When I first saw this movie in high school I loved Vent Boy because he's gorgeous :3 lol
3.38 that sounds familiar...
Sounds like a lawsuit.
In defence of the dumb decisions, those characters are technically kids. Movies make them look like the are in their 20s or something but they were basically 16 in the books.
This channel is a maze, and the ONLY WAY OUT is to do a pitch meetings for a classic film, like Wizard of Oz or Casablanca or something. If you would, please, I think it'd be really fun.
no he can't do actual good m0vies!!
5:32 I KNEW South Park was right about Canadians!
Such perfect timing. I just finished these movies. They were fanstastic. One could say watching them was super easy, barely and inconvenience.
This sounds like the most infuriating movie ever. Thanks for taking one for the team, Ryan.
honestly a really fun film tho it just gets a bit confusing with the whole cure thing and that stuff
still prefer maze runner 2 to the book
@ArenVrem no i do like reading it's just i found the scorch trials book to be a little confusing. i did like the cranks in the book bc they were really disturbing and stuff, but at the end battle the bulb monsters came out of nowhere. i thought they would have to fight a horde of cranks or smth
These guys really showed up and said let's PRETEND to make a movie and maybe we'll become rich
Almost every problem/plothole with the movie series is a result of deviating from the book or is directly addressed in the books.
The first movie is only like 70% accurate to the book, the second completely changes whole critical plotpoints, and the final movie has essentially nothing to do with the third book. One of the worst book adaptation movie series ever.
This was the biggest let down. I was all in on the Maze Running puzzle, until there were no more mazes.
1:02 it worked out for thanos.
Did you forget he got his head lopped off?
1:49 when you see a new pitch meeting upload
"is that sarcasm?"
"No, no, no. I'm also very dumb."
Mood
1:49 I love Vent boy - Ryan
"Lightning is more afraid of us then we are of it" that line is pure gold.
Please do a pitch meeting on:
#1 - The Room
#2 - Birdemic: Shock and Terror
#3 - Battlefield Earth
We put Ryan through all those, he might need therapy.
@@NeoConnor1 Or he could become an earth loving, environmentally friendly scientologist who lives in San Francisco!
So.... where's the upside?
"Is that sarcasm?"
"Oh no no no I'm also just very dumb" 😂
I'm actually a fan of this franchise in both book and film form and I'll be honest I forgot everything about this movie which is also a testament to how little it follows the book
I was going to leave a cement, but I can't find the cement section so I'll just have to leave a comment here instead. Great Patch Meeting, as always! 👍
Never watched the first movie, never read the books, but my first time taking ecstasy my friends in college decided to take me along to see this lmao. Gotta say, definitely improved the film
I need Divergent Series pitch meetings! They are so bad, they are perfekt, Ryan!
The spider joke killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1:12 the fact that I remembered wicked, proves some trauma isn't blocked by the subconscious.
As someone who has read the books but hasn't seen the movies, this doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence.
Also, now I have to get millipedes out of my mind. Thanks...
Ooh, being mind tricked into thinking of spiders and millipedes isn’t tight.
really hoping vent boy gets his own spin-off.
I wanted to leave a cement but then it stuck all the keys on my keyboard.
As someone who's read the book but not watched the film, this video made me completely confused. THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE BOOK!
4:56 “I’m kinda shocked that kid’s still alive” I see what you did there!
Love your videos! Please do a pitch meeting for Southland Tales!!! It'll be super easy! Barely an inconvenience. I am going to comment this for as long as you make these until you make it. I will never give up. This is my seventeenth attempt.
Lol, great video as always. I've been asking for "The Predator" (one of the worst recent movies ever created) and the "Scream" series. Hope I see that one day! Take care Ryan.
I was 25 years old before I learned that "going to live on a farm" meant my dog was dead because he kept attacking people. He was a good dog, just a bit too protective of me. Poor neighbors.
Might as suggest a movie to made into a Pitch Meeting. That movie will be “Sky High”.
3:18 - We need a gif of this
Next make one about the 3rd Maze Runner movie please your pitch meetings are really funny
I just assumed they never made a 3rd one, damn
