Great review Karl, thanks. Once you use a Loadcell you wont go back to any positional system, ie. potentiometers, for a brake pedal. It is easy to exert a similar amount of force with your foot repeatedly, vs trying to place your foot in a particular position repeatedly. This is in essence, the reason why Loadcells are the norm for decent pedals.
@@RIBZ85 I expect we will be able to get the first ones out around last week of April but its very likely this will not be the same "simple" wheel. We want to integrate a new telemetry screen into all our wheels.
I used a GT wheel Mod on my old g29 from MVHSTUDIOS. Brilliant mod, strong and sturdy. I had to make the jump to direct drive base when the hobbie became my "2nd" wife. Otherwise, I still be using the mod.
I really love what MVHStudios are doing in the Sim Racing market. Bringing really cool mods to entry level gear, for those who don’t really want to shell out the $ but want some of the wheels or features typically locked behind higher end products. They also don’t price gouge like others in the industry. Personally had really good customer experience with them as well. I have the F1 wheel mod and the spring pedal mod and it was fantastic before I upgraded, so glad to see they’re still doing well!
It's great to see! The Logitech G series of entry level stuff is still the most popular in the world so it makes sense to cater for those sim racers almost more than anything else! :D
Been eagerly awaiting your review on this and you didn’t disappoint! MVH are doing some fantastic stuff for those of us with entry level set ups and a good price! Thanks!
Hey Karl I got the truebrake mod and it’s been working well for me so far. At first it took me some time to adjust to, but it’s working better for me now. However, the only thing that I had to adjust to my driving style is the consistent amount of hard brake force that I have to put into it and it’s fine, but trailbraking can be a bit off sometimes which is why I fine that I still struggle to get EVEN FASTER TIMES AND TO IMPROVE AS WELL. So with this ACTUAL load cell mod, compared to my truebrake, do you think that I should consider buying this mod so I can not only confidently brake at full force, but to have that desired pedal travel as well to easily modulate my trailbraking better and overall help me stay more consistent and faster? Let me know whenever you can and 🙏!
Aight gotcha thanks! If that’s the case, I’ve just decided that I’ll just save up and hopefully that Logitech G will put the G Pro Pedals on either Black Friday or Boxing Day and just get the adapter with it to connect to my g29 wheel. The Truebrake tbh feels still like a bit of pedal travel is what modulates the release of brake pressure, but at the same time I feel like it’s also by pressure braking as well it’s somehow complicated to explain but it feels like they somehow did a mix of both and it feels good, but I feel that with a load cell setup I should have an easier time modulating my trailbraking better👍.
Oh man those look amazing, would love to get one but sadly they don't ship to Turkey. Consistency is kinda hard with my G923 pedals, so prolly gonna get Moza SPR or something similar at that price point.
Hi Karl, this is a good solution, especially for consoles. Thank you for the test. On pc, I think it's better to take the fanatec csl pedals lc, 2 times more expensive it's true, but it's worth it. what do you think ?
Hi Karl, I have a question for you, regarding racing in vr. I recently got psvr2 and gt7. I was planning on setting it up with my g29 wheel but I keep hearing so many people say that after racing in vr, they just can’t go back to racing on tv. In your opinion, would this be true for most people? I’m concerned because it may feel like going back to controller, after trying wheel. After trying wheel , I can’t go back to controller and if vr racing makes me not want to race in flat on tv, then I’m screwed because there’s no other vr racing games, on Ps5 other then gt7. Am I worrying over nothing?
Karl i have a question, i want to start racing, and i am curious on what in your opinion is a good starters racing wheel, cause i am planning on buying the Logitech g923 steering wheel
Just fitted mine today I've upgraded from the true brake mod, so far I've only played 5 mins of dirt 2.0 but it's a massive improvement full pedal travel and I can actually modulate the brake properly it feels so. Much better as well thanks for the review Karl I've got the gt omega art and this purely from your reviews and both are spot on
Great review Karl...i'm looking for something like that for my G29 (i already have the 3dRap mod but i want something more 😁) and in conclusion i'm undecided between this and the Truebrake V2. I know this is not a comparision video but since you have tried them both, have you any advice or prefereces?
@@KarlGosling Thanks for the answer...the only thing that makes me doubt Is that from the video It seems that the pedal has a lot of travel, it's Just my impression?
Hey guys, can someone share a first hand experience, of how this conversion compares to the AXC True brake, which mimiks load cell behaviour by reading compression of a linear spring which is in series with the pedal spring?
@@KarlGosling yeah but it's around the same price and people say it feels almost identical to a load cell. I wonder how they would compare back to back
Appreciate the review. How does this product benefit your driving over setting the deadzones in game? Also, when using this product, did it have any/much of a detrimental positive effect on your laptimes over not using the load sensor? Thank you. Keep up the great honest reviews.
Truebrake isn't a load cell mate and it feels very different, I would always recommend a load cell over a potentiometer even though the TB does work well.
@@KarlGosling cheers for the reply mate me personally I like a bit of pedal travel something this looks like it has so I just got it using your discount code I always appreciate your honest reviews mate keep up the great work
Great video Karl. Nice to see upgrades coming after all this time. Can I ask do brake options ( across all makes) exist that have essentially force feedback in them and what titles even support that?

I used your code and got this loadcell mod and it is a game changer for the logitech brake pedal. I am still getting used to it but i can say it is brillaint for the price.
how does it compare to the truebrake? Also Karl have you tried the pedal extenders? the add a bit of length to the pedals and for feel etc has been the best mod I've made
@@MVHStudios I have a truebrake in my brake pedal and a cheap brake mod in the clutch which is a 3d thing with a small spring so big spring and small ...
