Your Birkinn is AMAZING!!! Ireland is at the top of my list; followed by Ireland, Ireland, and Ireland.
Lol! Ireland looks amazing! Hopefully you’ll see the luck of the Irish and be able to plan a trip there soon! ☘️
Omg you and hubby are so funny I giggled so much in this video .... Beautiful sweater and spins as always 🤗💖
Thank you love!! 🎈
Well you know we share the same travel goals 😋
International 2022 here we come 🤪
My mojo in spinning is touch and go lately. I have been knitting a baby blanket and glad it isn't a large blanket, because I can't wait to get it off the needles. I love waffles, too - I like the crunch. If the World ever gets back on track I have been wanting to go to Israel, it is #1 on my bucket list. My husband and I have been all over England, Germany and Switzerland so I guess #2 on the bucket list would be Greece and the Isle of Patmos.
Oh, I hope you are able to go to Israel. My aunt when a few years ago and loved it. It looks beautiful and all the history in that region. And yes, Greece is really high on the list. Hopefully in the next few years… with my dad, who can act as interpreter 😂
Handspun vertices unite! I'm here for it! The UK (especially Scotland) is up there on my list.
Yes, I need like 2 months of vacation to plan a grand tour through the UK and Scotland. 🎈
@@yarncurator right?!
Waffles! My dream vacation would be either Japan or the English countryside. Yarnie grim reaper is just hilarious!
Oh, both Japan and a countryside tour sound amazing!!
What a fun episode, Naomi. You guys looked like you were having tons of fun with all those crazy edits! Makes me think I need a podcast producer! 😅
Time to sweet talk one of your sons!
Excellent fun podcast. Love love your edits. I rewound and showed my husband the defibrillator cut and he said “I Like those guys!”
My dream vacation is to Ireland. Charlie is full Irish and he’s found a castle named Tyrrellspass, which Might be from his ancestors. We Really should see this.
Oh… and pancakes. Roll one up with a strip of crisp bacon inside and dip in syrup. (My kids all eat pancakes this way 😂. I’m a bad influence.)
Mmmm, bacon added to anything makes it the best. Might need to make breakfast for dinner 😂 glad y’all enjoyed! We had a lot of fun filling the little clips together. And Ireland looks like a dream! Sounds like you need to plan something extravagant for your next anniversary 💛🎈
Happy podiversary! I spent all day today knitting a sock at a conference and I do not think I could cope with academia without stockinette knitting. The borders to my country are closed for the foreseeable future so my dream holiday is literally anywhere outside of Australia!
Oh, knitting makes everything in academia more palatable. I think I knit through most of my undergrad courses, wasn’t that brave in grad school 😂. And I hope your able to get out, soon!
That Birkin is BEAUTIFUL!! I second the knitting mojo...but I think part of it is I feel like I have ZERO time anymore! I am teaching summer school, plus still taking classes since im in college online, plus my kids.....i'm losing my mind LOL!!!
Side note: love the little clips of you and your husband, CRACKED ME UP!
That new cardigan project is super nice! That collar is a really nice touch!
I second that waffles are superior!! My hubby thought that waffles made from pancake mix would cut it......tasted just like pancakes and texture of pancakes, no bueno!!!
Dream Vacation: I'm like you, pulling from my roots! I'd love to go to Japan, Scotland, Canada, France are the top places right now (My grandmother came from Japan, my other grandmother traces back to Scotland, my grandfather is french canadian and I took 3 years of french :)
Shena, you need a vacation mamma! What great heritage you have! I hope your able to plan a grand tour to all those places, I love it! Maybe a mini trip to celebrate school, once your done.
And I’m glad to see the majority of people here are on team waffles. And yea… pancake mix just doesn’t cut it 😂😂
Thoroughly enjoyed your podcast this evening Naomi. The Mr. also enjoyed the fun editing. Love the new sweater WIP. Your knitting mojo may be low but the spinning is extremely impressive! And yep, waffles over pancakes 🙂. Congratulations on the Podiversary! I have been fortunate to travel in a good portion of Europe and would go back everywhere, but for dream vacation where we have not been, maybe Bali, Greece or Croatia!
Ooooo Croatia is a great choice as well! I’m impressed your husband watches! Mine is super supportive of the channel but does not want to watch 😂😂. #TeamWaffles seems to be winning
Hi! Just found your podcast! Bucket list trips are Morocco and Ethiopia
Oh Morocco looks divine. I LOVE the architecture and mosaic tile work that comes from there.
Hi Naomi, just found your podcast! I would love to go to the British Isles and tour all the woolly fiber producers, mills, shops etc...
Yes!! That sounds like a dream vacation! Shetland wool week is up there on my knitting vacation bucket list.
The yarns that you have spun are absolutely brilliant! The colorways are soooo pleasant..... And i loved your colorwork test knit sweater also. I am a big fan of Felicity Yarn Studio's dyeing.... Congratulations on your 2nd podiversary! My dream vacation would include Greece, Spain, Austria and Morocco - i love the brilliant waters, the culture, the grace and the history of these places.....
Oh, sounds like the perfect Mediterranean cruise and maybe sneak a river cruise in to see Austria! Thank you so much for watching! 🎈
That green is gorgeous and the cardigan pattern is beautiful. It’s looking great. But I usually fix mistakes after midnight. 🤪
Living dangerously after 10 pm, I see.
Yay so glad to see you back (and mr yarn curator incognito 😂) my dream places to go are Australia , Hawaii, Norway (in the summertime) and Ireland/Scotland/England/Italy. In that order of preference.
Hope to see you back soon!! Happy knitting and spinning 🧶
Oooo Australia, good choice. One of the ladies in my knit group booked a trip to Australia and her return trip was a cruise that went through Hawaii and back to the US. I don’t think there’s any other way to plan it now, after hearing that 😂
@@yarncurator that sounds awesome. 🤩. I am planning a two week trip to Disney Orlando late October into November 2021. 😎
Yay! That was originally, for your anniversary right? I’m so happy you are able to reschedule!
@@yarncurator yes it was!! Instead of our 30 will be for our 31. And celebrate my daughter Melissa for her bachelor of science degree she earned this past Mother’s Day. ❤️
Green sweater is so cute! I want to travel everywhere but I'd really like to visit a bunch of places in Africa and Asia because of the nature and foods and music. Greece looks lovely also.
I’m with you on Team Everywhere!! I would love to see some of the wilds of Africa, such a unique ecosystem and cultures.
My daughter has become a comedian! 🤣💀🤣
Become? Always 🤪
Great episode Naomi! Loved Mr. Yarn Curator's additions and had quite a few laughs 😂
Your Birkin Sweater turned out gorgeous! And LOVE the new cardigan WIP!
Regarding the Great Waffle Debate: I'm a homemade crêpe girl allllll the way (must be the French in me)! Congrats on your podiversary and I would literally travel ANYWHERE at this point as it's been wayyyyy too long! 🤗💙
We traveled to Ireland for our 10th anniversary. I wanted to go to Italy and my husband wants to go Germany. Now that I’ve seen so many knitting podcasts from Norway, I would really like to go there first. Loved this podcast!
Oh Norway keeps popping up on the comments, I might need to add it to the list… or plan like 3 cruises back to back… start in Scandinavia, down through Germany, and then across the Mediterranean. Ireland looks gorgeous! 🎈
@@yarncurator that sounds like a great plan!! I’m there!!
I would love to go to England, Ireland, Scotland. Italy and Sicily are high on my list. I love Italian food.
Those all sound like lovely holidays! And yes, I think Italy is every good lovers dream! 😋
Your handspun is so beautiful! It makes me want to learn how to spin. My dream vacation would be somewhere in Asia, either Korea or Japan!
Thank you so much! If you’re really tempted to get a wheel; the electric eel is so nice and affordable. It’s def. a different spinning experience but it’s so nice there’s an affordable wheel out there for people to get. And Korea and Japan both loom beautiful with such rich, vibrant cultures to explore.
Happy Podiversary! I also love planning dream vacations. I’d love to travel to Europe and the UK someday and Japan is also high on our list too. (Although there are so many more places I’d like to visit as well! ) Love the colour choice of your Birkin! ❤️
Yes!!! Another dream vacation planner… maybe we should have been travel agents! 😂 and there are so many places around the world I want to see; I had to edit down the list 😂😂
It's so good to see you again!!! I've missed you like you've missed your mojo haha. Thanks to the mister for the giggles too - you two crack me up. Gorgeous projects as ever and I loved seeing the installation xx
Gemma, with a comment like that I’m can only go one month between episodes now 😂😂 thank you so much! 🥰😘
Wonderful to catch up with you today. I would love to travel to the UK and Northern Europe. Norway especially. ✈️
Norway looks gorgeous!!
Dream vacation I will probably never make it to: New Zealand
Fly there and take a cruise back. I might join you 🤪
I also believe tubular bind off just isn’t worth it! I also like that a standard bind off is easier to repair with wear.
Yes! I have such a hard time unpicking tubular bindoff if I find I don’t like the length or want to go back and fix something. 💛
So nice to watch another episode. I love the cardigan! I dream of visiting France, specifically Paris. Maybe some day… happy podiversary!
Oh that’s pretty high on the list. I really want to plan a trip to London and cross the channel and fly back from Paris. One day…
You are so funny! I enjoyed your episode!! 😍😍😍 and I want to spin too! My mother in law has a wheel and I’ve been using it some!
I want to go to so many places!! I want to go to the UK so badly!!! I’m from Chile, so I would really want to take my kids and husband there!!!
Oooo yes, spinning is really relaxing but also instant(ish) gratification. I hope you get to play with her wheel some more! I also see them pop on Craigslist a lot… sorry I’m a terrible enabler 😂😂
And going to UK is high on my list, but feel like I need to save for a months long vacation at this point. And I would love to go see Chile, one day. We watched a nature doc about Chiles different natural habitats that span the country and it looked gorgeous. I’m sure that family trip would be awesome with loads of special memories 🎈
@@yarncurator yes!! My goal is to learn to spin and then make myself something out of the yarn I spin!! I will get there for sure!!
I would need so much money to go to the UK, because if I’m going, I might as well go around the time a yarn festival is happening Hahahah
Oh yea!! I did that two years ago and it was amazing. I’m hoping that’s a 2023 possibility. And can’t wait to one day see the spinning journey! 💪🏼
Girrlllll I am actually howling with laughter at you guys, your frigging hilarious! Bravo Mr yarn curator!
No more boredom socks please, I actually have 2 pairs of boredom socks right now, I need a shock with the mojo defibrillator too please Grim!
All your spinning is so stunning, I can't wait to see what you make.
I've just managed my first skein for tour de fleece tonight, I reckon you girls are gonna kick my butt!
Oh and my top 3 dream vacations, Japan, Italy and New Zealand but ideally I'd just like a weekend in Amsterdam with no children 😎
Girls trip? Zoe and I will totally meet you there! I’ll bring the defibrillator 😂😂
Yessssss!! This actually needs to happen!!
@@GemmaBeaMakes oh this is so happening! 😎
Congrats on your podiversary! Your spinning is beautiful, can’t wait to see the vertices unite. I live in the southwest US and would love to visit a few national parks this summer/fall!
Oh!! Grand Canyon is high on my list! Have you gone to Moab? Utah, on the whole is stunning!
Probably this won’t seem that exciting for you since you live in Florida but I’ve just come out of an upstate New York winter and I am longing to go somewhere with clear blue water and warm sun. So Hawaii or the Caribbean is what I’m dreaming of right now! I also want to go on a walking hiking tour of different areas of the UK.
One of the girls in my cohort hiked Hadrian’s wall a year or two ago and it looked amazing! And Zoe was just trying to convince me to go to the Bahamas or Jamaica 😂
Great episode! Right now my dream vacation is going back to Greece, I absolutely loved Crete. I also want to visit Japan and check out their knitting scene.
Oh, solid choices! I hope you’re able to make it to both of those places sooner rather than later.
I’m going to message you on Instagram and give you my tip for a tubular bind off. It is REALLY EASY!
Thank you, thank you thank you!!!!!!
