My problem with aim training is that I have a life from which I give a lot of time playing with friends, I don't time to waste for aim training. That is why me and my friends are slowly shifting to olaying overwatch. Its way more casual and doesn't require a lot of aim. Valorant is too sweaty for most casual players. 😅
That's fair! However, I think it's a huge misconception that you need to spend hours on hours to improve. Yes, if you were trying to reach that "PRO LEVEL" you would need to spend 8+ hours a day grinding like it's your life (which is why I quit to spend more time to what's important to me ex. my health and relationships). but, you can make massive strides in improvement with just simple habits and a little bit of discipline. Literally spending maybe 20 mins a day dedicated to strictly focusing on 1 or 2 concepts in dm will drastically increase your overall mechanics pretty much instantly and this is just one example. If you are playing casually, that's totally fine, this video was more meant for the people who either want to take the game more seriously to reach their dream ranks or can be applied in literally anything they are chasing in life such as their dreams goals or a physical milestone.
Great advice. I watch videos to learn, but I only do it while I'm at work doing stuff that doesn't require much focus. I try to apply that knowledge with my limited playtime, lol.
That’s great and I’m glad you are trying to take action whenever you can! This advice can also be applied outside of Valorant as well! But goodluck on the journey and hope you kill it in your games tonight!

Hey man, means the world to me. I will work harder than ever to produce better and higher quality videos while still being true and genuine! Hope to see you along the journey!
True. I have a document titled "POG (Passive Objectives Guide)", which essentially is just a checklist of my biggest weaknesses and each and every one of the points in this checklist are linked to broad topics, where if any one of these topics I were to master, I would become at LEAST Immortal, and the consistency in my gameplay would drastically improve. Obviously, most people probably shouldn't try following most of my checklist points because it's personalised to me and my rank specifically (Ascendant 2 MMR), but I basically go into every game with these "passive objectives" in mind. Usually, I have 5 or 10 of these objectives fully memorised and at the back of my mind at ALL times, but I try to apply 2 or 3 of these objectives per game. Over time I learned to make this quite effective through a minimal amount of effort. Oftentimes, these 'passive objectives' tie into one another in some way, forming a kind of "chain", and if properly followed a "chain reaction" would take place. For example, one of my "POGs" is to "look at the minimap whenever looking ahead is not useful in any way". This strongly ties into another one of my POGs: "Always be aware of my and teammate positions, so that I can think of ways to act according to the situation". Combine the two POGs, and suddenly I have a very strong "base" for improvement, and as long as these are things I'm consciously thinking about and applying in-game, I'm practically guaranteed to see some kind of noticeable improvement only after a few games, however it all depends on how much I feel like 'playing for improvement' over just 'playing for fun'. If you seek to improve as quickly as possible, then your goal should be to ALWAYS prioritise improvement. Time for me isn't much of a factor however, so sometimes even a dozen games will pass with me having made no noticeable improvements. A lot of my POGs also tie in to topics that Radiant coaches such as Woohojin talked about. Things that hold back players like me from ranking up more consistently, things that I've practically never tried to do before. Well, if anyone's curious, here is a shortened version of my POGs Checklist: - *Learn to consistently put myself in the enemy’s shoes.* What would be the enemy's worst nightmare? What fight is the enemy most likely to try take next? Request utility where enemy might hate it. Be mentally aware of what the enemy might be comming at a given moment. Establish precedent with the enemy team that you're TRICKY, this will make them play worse. - *IGL more, especially by round 4.* As a Duelist, work with my initiators to create the necessary conditions to win. On Attack, who are their flankers? How fast does the enemy rotate? On Defence, Who are their lurkers? How often does the enemy cancel/fake site pushes? By round 4 I need some kind of idea for a pre-round plan. - *Avoid the awkward fights, as that's the essence of solo queue.* Focus on the easier threat if there are multiple. Avoid on-angles (where enemy's crosshair will be on my head) where I'll be presented with fair or less than fair fights. On low HP, act like a Sova Drone for your team, or play like the biggest rat ever (flanking, lurking, camping, etc). - *Look at my minimap anytime I cannot fire my gun* Reloading? Minimap. Planting? Minimap. Rotating? Minimap. 2nd in line? Minimap. Use 'windows of time' to have more THINKING TIME while observing the current situation. - *When peeking, I should always be prepared to take a duel. ALWAYS!* Peek with the intent to kill. Peek with intensity. Be like, "I DARE YOU TO PEEK ME!" and not "oh oops imma crouch spray didn't expect that". My other POGs are very tailored to me specifically but are basically things that help me squeeze the most out of my life and my agent during any given round.
Absolutely love this and funny enough will be brought up in my next video on "simple tips to aim better" guide! So thanks so much for the insight for all inspiring players trying to reach immortals and showing how much effort and preparation it takes to achieve that!
Wonderful video. After focusing recently on improving my fundamentals I went from plat 1 to diamond 1. But now I'm stuck again not sure what to improve.
Write down all of the mechanics in the game such as counter strafing , flicking, igling, communication, leadership, etc etc and rank them all out of 1/10. Whatever is lowest solely focus on that skill until you reach a level you feel is exceeding diamond. After that, look at your next weakness and rinse and repete this process over and over again. This will give you a clear path on where to go to improve without the need of a coach!
I appreciate it! I have really been working hard in getting better and providing content that other people aren't covering yet! Also, this is stuff I care about as well and have been doing to better my life in and outside of the game, so that's why I sound so energetic, because it's just how I am when talking about this kind of stuff!
Im mid-high immo3 rn tryna grind to radiant but I feel like im iron lol. I am very inconsistent with aim and dont really know how to get consistent. I can be good sometimes but shit other times
It’s all about building proper habits to be able to stay at the top of your game at all times. Obviously, some games you will perform not at your best and that’s just how it is. But, building effective systems that cut down time and allows you to efficiently practice is the difference between an avg immortal 3/radiant to a pro salaried player. Those guys don’t waste any time and treat the game like it’s their life, if you want to take it to that next level, I suggest to emulate the same mindset as them
ayo no one gonna talk abt how he spelled pressure as 'preasure' sry for being the grammar police lol ,anyways great vid, i hope i will start practicing and aim training cuz i dont as i dont get much time to play really

@@rooneyFPS Thank you for responding and 20 mins is very doable for me. I will try to follow your advice. 😊
This is kinda funny because Valorant is NO where near as aim intensive as Overwatch. That being said, I understand the more casual part
@@hypnotic_o That point is that overwatch allows Run and gun and valorant punishes run and gun very severely.
Then choose one goddamn it, you wanna play with your friends then go ahead and uninstall if you wanna play overwatch.
