Oh, I love this one! I have done one sea urchin, but it didn't come out very well. I think I'll be able to do a better job following your instructions. You said you thickened one of the paints. I know how to thin the paint, but what did you do to thicken? Thank you!
beautiful! thanks for posting all of these great videos. I've been watching and learning a lot. I tried the mold, but I am having trouble painting it black without all the brush lines showing. Do you have any tips for what type of brush to use or any certain paint? I just can't get it to look right.
Kristen... I love your tutorials and am perplexed about how to find your supply list. Where can I find it? You refer to it being somewhere on the UA-cam page. Thanks! Janet
Hi Kristin, Yesterday I painted a stone ultramarine blue is preparation for learning from one of your videos. I have searched and am unable to find this video again. Can you please guide me the to correct video in which the stone was 1st painted ultramarine? I know the stone was using a Happy Dotting Company molded stone. Thanks for your beautiful work and tutorials!
Kristin, thank you so much for this lovely tutorial! I wish I had it about a week ago (but thankful now!) - attempted an urchin painting from looking at a picture, and I didn't have enough space for what I did. Always a lesson to learn with each painting. Thank you so much! ❤️ 🙂 Your stone is so beautiful! :)
Hello Dear Kristin, great to see you on your tutorial 👍👏. Just got the mold from Angela 😎. Will pick up the gypsum cement tomorrow & can’t wait to do the first molding project...
debcoffman59@gmail.com I enjoyed the show you gave, and how you explained each step and giving us the name's of each color.Thank you. Looking forward to seeing your next
Love your Sea Urchin design. Do you by any chance Sell the handmade stones.?? I am not up to that process & would love to pay what ever price to have you make some for me. I'll look forward to your response. Thanks allot, Gail in Michigan
Just got an email from Angela....they've got the silicone molds restocked and listed on their etsy shop...ordered 2. Can't wait until they get here. :)
Great video! I have a question about: my dots are bumpy when wet but when they get dry they become super flat :( maybe someone knows how to improve it?
Thank you Kristin, so beautiful ! I’m glad I can make my own art stones, it is almost impossible to find the right stone for dot painting, but I must order the tools first 😄
Thank you for doing this video. Do you have any idea how these hand made rocks would hold up outside in the elements? Do you know by chance if the maker of the mold is going to have different size molds in the future? Your videos are so inspiring. Your voice is calming and you are soooo detailed! Every time I watch one of your videos for a split second I have a question but then I keep watching and you always answer before the end of your videos.
I did a drop test on one of the stones I made and it held up just fine when I dropped it on a wooden deck and when I dropped it on a cement path. Just the paint chipped a little, which I repaired. I ahem not had time to see how these hold up to the elements when left outside. I'm sure the sealer will help, but as fas as I know they are intended for indoor use. Anjela is working on more molds of different sizes and shapes! Yay!
Mystic Maven hi there... I too am in PDX! Are you still here? I’d love to meet another dot mandala painter. You can email me at: 1031charley@gmail.com. My name is Janet!
I don't resin cuz of money. I don't dot cuz of time ~ I have OCD about certain things & I would never be satisfied so I'd constantly be re-doing things. So, instead of getting all stressed about doing it, I relax and watch others.
Thanks so much for naming the color of the tools! I have the set and it will make it so much easier!
Beautiful stone Kristin 💚
So beautiful, I love the colours 👏🏻😊❤️
Beautiful stone. You are my favorite to watch. What size turn table do you use?
Beautiful. ☆♡☆
So beautiful! Love, love, love your tutorials. Happy you're back. Praying for you!

I love your videos! How do you remove the guidelines? I saw the qtip, did you use water or something else?
I guess they are sold out of the rock silicone mold? I could not find it on the website or the etsy site.

This is gorgeous,,,xxxx
Stunningly beautiful!
Very nice. Your videos are so clear.
When I saw the mold, I wondered if it could be made one in resin & dotted on. Hmmmmm
Thanks for the info. So far I've resisted both dotting AND resin ~ not enough time & money LOL ~ but I don't know how much longer I can.

Good morning Kristin , you are absolutely great, will you marry me ? ? !!!
