Oh thank you for this! Keep the videos coming. I love that you tell what size tools you are using. I am new to this hobby and am using the molds and same tools that you use, so I know the pattern will work out on the size rock. 🥰
It’s been a pleasure listening & watching you share your vacation experiences to the islands with your lovely dotted stones. Thank you so much for sharing 😊
I did one of each of the Hawaii stones to take on our trip to Oahu. Each evening David and I went for a walk on the boardwalk along the ocean to hide one of my kindness rocks. Every rock was found and someone took it but so far I haven't seen any photos posted so I have no idea who found them or where they ended up. I hope whoever it is had a thrill finding it and enjoys their rock. Thank you so much, Kristin, for doing this series. I had such fun painting and hiding these beautiful stones!
Gorgeous design, beautiful colours, even your nail polish colour matches everything, Kristin you’re a thoughtful person, and how clever to make use of the silicon Mold !
OMG, once again! You always use the most gorgeous color pallets. They always make my heart jump with joy and my jaw drop to the floor. Thank you. Can't wait to do this rock.
Love it! I did this one last night on a small canvas with colors as close to yours as possible. ..I extended 8 little dot rays out to fill up some left over space & today it looks so electric I will probably leave it as is without top dots. Thank you :) I'm looking forward to trying some of your other patterns!
I love Maui. My parents, Sis n Bro lives there many years like 32 years .... My Bro moved back after he retired about 4 years ago. Love your color selections 😘
Kristin:'there is so much to learn from you! This stone is so beautiful! The more I look at it, the more breathless I become. Thanks again for sharing. God bless you.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Kelvin Briggs i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi Kristin, I started dot painting about a year ago and your videos have been a huge inspiration and learning guide for me, I know that you always show what paints you plan on using in each of your videos but I was really hoping that you could make an updated video that just covers all of the paints that you use, why you prefer them and how you might mix them with different mediums, I am a huge fan of mixing my paint with Liquitex gloss medium because I love shiny dots and although I am watching less dot painting tutorials as I learn what works best for me I did notice in a recent one of yours that you have started using the Liguitex also, your dots are always so beautiful and I would really love to watch how you prepare your paint.
I would second this request. You stated in your comments that you add golden fluid paints to boost your pigments. Would definitely love to hear and see more about this. I love you videos!!!!
Thank you so much for such a great tutorial. I especially like that you showed which tool you were using, by numbers. This was very helpful to me as I am new to rock painting. I found it to be a great guide to using the different size tools.
WOW, that is gorgeous!!!!! 2 more weeks and I will get to try that shave ice! I finished up my Oahu rock and it is ready to hide while I am there. :D Thank you so much for doing this series. :D
Wow!!!How Beautiful!! I really want to try this , you are sooo talented! You have inspired me to try this. Thank you for your easy to follow directions with amazing results.🤗
How does the underside dry sitting with resin? Do you elevate the rock to dry? What is the purpose of adding resin twice? Thank you, so beautiful! ** I just read a reply about the plastic board. Is there much of a mark on the underside after two days?
Kristin, I don't mean to be picky but I had printed out your paint color list, listed under the video. Now I see that the color list in your video is nothing like the color list in the description. I just thought you might like to be aware of this. I have since copied the color list in the video. I love your color pallets and your designs. You rock, Lady.
Hello Kristin, I'm wondering if the numbers of Mark's tools correspond to the approximate mm's of the dots from each tool? I love Mark, he's fantastic and I may purchase his but I have tools, all of which you recommended in the past. Can you answer to this or should I ask Mark? As always... I'm a total fan of your kind heart, beautiful work and colour palettes!
Hello the colors are so bright can you tell me which is the mango color and the purple flash for and how did you get the raspberry shades? I love this design!!
Hi Kristin. This stone is absolutely gorgeous! Are the paints that you use a gloss or a satin acrylic? Also, I was wondering...how does the resin dry on the bottom of the stone? I see you left it flat down to dry. I would like to try but I can only think that it would either stick to the surface it is set on to dry and also, that there would be a huge mark on the underside of the rock.
Thank you for the info. I did ceramics for so long that I may have a cup stilt in the garage. But if I can't find one I will get a silicone mat for sure.
Hi Kristen I have been following you for a while now. You are truly amazing. Can I ask how you kept the resin from making bubbles on the backside of the rock and what did you let your rock dry on to keep the resin looking good on the back of the rock?
I use either a plastic cutting board or discarded plastic lids to set the stones on while the resin cures. If there is too much of a mark on the backside after two days, I turn the stone on it's face and then resin that small spot on the back...wait two more days, and then the backside is smooth.
after resin on which syrface we should keep the stone to let this dry. i kept stone on a plastic tray over night but in the morning i found my stone completely fixed on the tray i took it out very hardly .
Kirsten could I ask if the resin yellows with age? I made a decoupage tray about eight years ago and it's gone yellow. Not nice! Maybe the modern way of making resin has taken this into account?
I have a question about the resin.. will it stick to the plastic cutting board? I moved my mandala to avoid it from sticking to the board but unfortunately I ruined the bottom of the mandala.. so my question is, should I just leave it for two days before I’m moving it? Thanks in advance ♥️
Fab such a bright and cheery finish. Thank you . Kay x
Yellow dots looks pretty on the orange trio. Very beautiful.

This is a beautiful mandala. I have a question from a beginner. When you resin the entire stone, how do you dry it without it sticking to the mat?
Dear Kristin, this is wonderful... you are an amazing and talented lady xxx
Beautiful!!! Thank you and God bless you and your family

I am just starting out and need guidance on tools. What tools do you prefer?
I really like this one . Thank you. Alo'ha🎉
Very nice!
Kristen this is beautiful. May I ask, what do you set the stone on when you resin to keep it from sticking?
I set them on a silicone mat meant for baking.
Thank you for the info. I did ceramics for so long that I may have a cup stilt in the garage. But if I can't find one I will get a silicone mat for sure.

Terezinha from Brasil

I am interested in the silicon dotting tools. Where can I get a set of my own. Do you have them for sale?
Kirsten could I ask if the resin yellows with age? I made a decoupage tray about eight years ago and it's gone yellow. Not nice! Maybe the modern way of making resin has taken this into account?

Can you use something other than resin/epoxy to use and get the same affect? I have bad reactions when working with epoxy. Thank you!
What did you use to lay the rock on while the resin dried?
CONGRATULATIONS 💞
This is my favorite of the series so far. Thank you for being such an inspiration. 🍍🍑🍌🏝🎀💞
The colors you are saying don’t correspond to the list you provided. Which colors should be followed? Thank you!
Where do you find the ball point stylus?? I can't find it on Amazon!! 😭

Will you please tell me what you use to due the dotting with Please?
Hi Kathy...she is using Marks Mandalas dotting tools. I hope I'm not out of line here, just wanted you to know; )
When you do it, it seems so easy, but it’s so frustrating when I do it and it ends up all “waki”.
😍😍😍👏👏👏💖

great job! Need a steady hand and some patience!
fyi Ginger no longer sells dotting tools
