In this episode, Lee and I go out fishing with Garmin Livescope on the best crappie lake in the world for 3lb and 4lb crappie! Grenada Lake! We hooked up with Grenada Lake Charters, and they took us to the big fish! Jason put us on some big ones, and we were using Garmin Livescope to cast to them and snipe them! We caught some monsters and had a blast! We did catch and release on this outing! We tagged them to determine their growth rate in the future! I hope you enjoyed the video!

Those are some BIGSSSS!!! My buddy went out there a few years back and they were catching them on big crankbaits. That lake is just insane. I love the videos man and I’m always looking forward to hear you talk about the word of God. Keep it up man 👍🏼

Nice Slabs! I will be there the last two weeks of April!! LS is a great tool! You are correct, just because you have the best electronics out there, you still have to try and make them bite! I also love to wade fish for those Grenada slabs in the back of creeks with just a jig! Mississippi is my favorite state for catching slabs. Thanks for sharing! Tight lines!🎣🎣🎣🎣😎👍🏻

How times have changed. I grew up in Mississippi and fished Grenada (and Sardis and Enid) with my dad back in the 60’s. No electronics, 15 ft aluminum John boat with a 10 horse Evinrude. We used mid-sized minnows and cane poles. But, we still caught the slabs. Especially on the spring spawn. Those days are long gone and I live in Montana now, but it’s good to see the Grenada fishing is still there.

I'm torn, being.old school part of the fun is finding and catching them...without a screen, but I also like to see people catch fish who without electronics, would go hungry...lol

Question…. Why do you thread the minnow with the plastic ? Genuinely curious. Does it not affect the action. I guess I’m asking why is it better than just hooking the minnow on the jig head hook? Thanks

From experience just because you have live scope don’t mean you catch every fish you see on that screen it doesn’t have a catch button we have chased them all over with the live scope swapping baits colors love minnows etc and still wouldn’t bite if they don’t want it they ain’t gonna eat it really the only advantage is you seeing the fish and your bait floating down to it other than that if the not biting that screen don’t make them bite

Looks like a blast, what is the reason for tagging them? Also Andrew if you are ever up in IN hit me up on insta I have a private pond where I catch a ton of 15-17” crappie and some are bigger. It has alot of 1-2lb bluegill as well.
