Sara in sketches: Terrifying creature that slays without mercy
Melissa in Gag Reels: Always laughing and endearingly shy
Where the heck are they going to get a fill in Cute Gamer Girl for two weeks???
@@michaelputnam2532 Ginny D?
That sounds accurate.
What does it mean that Sara won't be at the table? It means someone dialed 1-800-HIT-MANN and hired her to liquidate someone's assets.
Very likely!
"Do you want it cut into triangles or squares?"
*Look of absolute disgust* "Triagles"
For when your friend can't handle a whole grilled cheese sandwich.
@Quirk
What are you talking about. Triangles are the perfect shape for dipping into tomato soup.
Triangle is the correct answer lol
Of course. Everyone knows triangles makes it taste better.
@@shishoka There was zero soup in that pre-short ad short though...
"That's a cantrip. Wow."
Chaz speaks for every DM who's had to deal with a blaster warlock.
Try having a warlock sorcerer.... Or better a fighter that decides to take the feat giving them the ability to cast Eldritch blast. Eldritch blast action surge I do it again...
Probably the best line in the whole video!
The only one that rivals it is Sarah's response.
"Are you just gonna spam Eldrich Blasts?"
"I'm. A. Warlock."
There is a meme with Bart Simpson where he plays a warlock and yes....
The struggle is real.
I mean it's literally no different from a fighter saying attack, a rogue saying backstab, a warlock Eldritch blast....
It gets stale over time by class
@@sharkdentures3247 in 3.5 its the bread and butter.
Monks unarmed strike,
Warriors jump up and tank,
Rangers fire arrows from afar, (next to warlocks)
Rogues hide and backstab (with op modifiers)
Casters are looking to fireball every moment they collect breath,
Bards can talk town gaurds into murder-hobos....
I can go on..
Every class spams what they do, that simple.
Don't like spells? Be melee.
Don't like melee? Cast spells.
Don't like melee or spells? Druid. You will be forced into either.
Don't want to be there? Rogue.
You can still be part of the party and your RL friends, but you likely aren't there anyways.
Half expected Sara to go hexblade warlock to get Eldritch blast and still can stab things
I love my Hexblade!
"You should crack open a 3.5 book." *nam flashbacks* "I am a warlock." Hear the dice roar.
Me: *loves spellcasters, wants 1 video for each*
Mann Shorts: *combined in one video*
Me: "I hate you too."
I have you too??
Yeah... I didn't realize they all hate Spellcasters, not just Sara. 🤣😂🤣
It really is quite a disappointment. then again this entire class series been very hit or miss
Yup!!!!
Well if it was separate, all wizard attacks would be fireball, and warlock would do eldrich blast so
After all these glorious headphones, RPG sites, and tech stuff ads, it is time for the ultimate paid promotion! NON-STICKICK PANS!
@@jefft9996 never heard of it
If the pan is non-stick, how did the sandwich stay put while Justin had it raised up at that potentially Chaz-killing angle? 🤔

Surprised Sara's Eldrich Blast spam didn't include the push 10 ft and reduce movement cheese. Seems like her style.
If Sarah leaves the group I'm gonna be a sad panda.
Pandas do cry..
Hey if Wailin didn't leave the group then neither will she
That moment you forward a D&D video to your wife because now you want a grilled cheese and know nothing about pans, but want to know if it's something she'd be interested in getting.
Well? What did she say? Is it a good deal for a pan or should everyone just buy cheap pans at the dollar store instead, like cavemen?
@@SurprisinglyDeep It would seem my communication skills can be improved greatly. She said that's cute, and they're funny.
@@LHCB6 I'd suggest that next time it could be good to do the research yourself and learn a bit about cooking tools or whatever, rather than perpetuating gender roles that maintain cooking is a woman's job. I've no doubt he'd cook for her if she wanted him to. However she most likely told him "I love you sweetie but I'm way better at cooking then you, so let me do most of it". Also alot of women have cooking as a hobby while alot of men only consider grilling a hobby (because it's seen as more manly.)

4:12 Eldritch Blast: You have to roll the attack and damage separately PER beam.
4:26 Scorching Ray: You have to roll the attack and damage separately PER beam.
Yeah I don't think I've ever played a 5e game where that was done because it's annoying and makes combat take 10 extra years. It is technically the rules but also no one plays it like that unless they like pain.
@@roji556 Well they are missing out. Because you can roll all your dice at once (I have multiple colors of dice) after selecting targets, so I feel that it goes just as fast. Also all my friends and all the people I've gamed with throughout my life roll every attack separately. So I feel sorry for you and those other people who can't seem to make it work.
@@roji556 You get that you can roll all the attacks at once, right?

Or did you actually think they rolled Nat 20's and the sum total of the cloud kill was 38 damage ?
@@kryptonianguest1903 Sure, or you could just roll one die for them all.
I think they accidentally put one of Sarah's scene out of order. She says she's gonna ready an eldritch blast and before Lance goes and then it jumps to the DM asking if she's just gonna eldritch blast.
"you think 5e spellcasters are math heavy, you should crack open a 3.5 ed book" :P I agree, but i love 3.5 ed more

Honestly these are the only ads I ever enjoy watching!
"He's dead, like my dreams." There were several great lines in this one, but that's my favorite.
Also, Fireball is crazy scary. We had a player make things so much worse by using one. Nearly a total party tko.
Yeah, was much worse in earlier editions. I started playing back in 2e, and I think it had like a 90' radius back then. Basically always a self-TPK.
Only just noticed that Kepler gets a credit. Nice set of episodes guys! 👏👏
"ooo casting eldritch blast is repetitive, casters are dumb."
Non-magic class: "I attack with my primary weapon again."
"That's a cantrip. Wow." got me XD
Having read the word cantrip about twenty times in the comments above, it is blending with the word catnip in my brain.
Now I am imagining a catnip cantrip for summoning your Tabaxi sidekick.
@@MonkeyJedi99 Dancing lights can summon up to four of them.
Here I thought justin finally was going to keep Chad out of his house by hitting him with the pan lol oh well justin loses again
The ads sometimes crack me up more than the vid itself! Let us have a totally spontaneous casual conversation about the very specific details of this non-stick pan! *LOL*
Your goofy commercials are Critical Role-worthy!
Kepler is like, "where are you going with the tasty?"
Props for doing a Muscle Mage build as an antagonist. It's always hilarious to see one in action, even if usually they're joke campaign fodder that annoys the GM more than anything. There's just something about spellcasting via flexes and poses that warms the cockles of my heart.
That moment when the commercial ends, and i go to watch a new video because was entertained by the commercial and forgot i had an actual video to watch.
Nicely done
That's legitimately the best ad yall have had. Anything with grilled cheese gets my approval.
My son likes Five nights a Freed’y.
He likes your shirt Lance.
That was a good episode.
Spell Bot would be sweet to have.

I want a meta-edition!
The most terrifying part of that commercial:
Mr. Man with the Pan is clearly using magic to put on a show for the observer after the murderous implications show. The nonstick was upside down, then not empty.
4:20 Sarah rolled one attack roll for all three beams of Eldritch blast. Isn't it supposed to be rolled separately for each beam?
"Lance" was perfect here

Please enlighten me because I didn’t understand.
@@AngelStickman
"You can't see me" is John Cena's catch phrase
1:42 Repeat after me. 3.5 casters are not much more complicated than 5e. The only four simplifications: 1) Prepared casters prepare spells known, not directly into slots, 2) ranges are fixed, instead of 25' + 5' per 2 CL, 100' + 10' per CL, and 400' + 40' per CL, 3) you don't have to remembered the cursed bonus spell slots table, and 4) multiclassed casters share slots between classes.
1:39 LOL, too true. Although I'm a 3.5 guy till the day I die.

After years of staring at Mann shorts, we finally learn who cut the cheese.
I know this video was 8 months ago, and no one is probably gonna see this. But there are no better pans than the humble cast iron.
I appreciate Lance/Spellbot's dedication to the bit. And, or course, I appreciate the shade being thrown at John Cena....

Never did I think I would watch all the way through an ad for a pan. HAHA... totally worth all your extra effort.
The entire time I'm waiting for him to say "Muscle wizard cast FIST!"
Lance playing Spellbot was a fun idea for an npc, I'm gonna borrow that one!
YEEEASSSSS!! SEAN GINA! From the first D&D campaign they played way back! It was SO epic how they brought him back!
I love the pan skit lol.
You cast your best spells, and your worst spells too. But none of that matters, Jena kicks out at two.
The next fighter in a skit has to use a frying pan as a primary weapon
I think it's interesting that they are going for a story arc.
Love it when they work together, this was a good one
And here we see the most dangerous thing in D&D: The Action Economy.. XD
Those adds are really cooking! You are just murdering it!

End it on a classic.
Spellbot was sent to destroy life beings weaker than itself.
Barbarian punch.
Having watched them play 5e for real. I got too excited for the muscle wizard. To bad he didn't have intro music.
Eldritch Blast requires separate attack rolls for each beam. Okay, I know you simplify rules for the sake of brevity in the videos, but I've had players get really disappointed when I explained they have to roll for each of those beams. It means they almost never hit with all of them, but they also rarely miss completely. It's really not a bad trade off, but it does make crits a lot less powerful.
I love you adverts! I never skip ahead of them.
The warforged impression was very fun; thank you guys!
0:15. It's a non-stick pan that you had the grilled cheese stuck to 😂
I dont know which I laugh at harder, the skit or the commercials you guys do!
Sarah over here rolling eldritch blast like it's firebolt... Supposed to be one attack roll for each beam lol
"thats a cantrip, wow" everyone's first encounter with a warlock XD
I love that you guys makes your ads as hella funny as the main vids. 😂
Omg, the Sean Jeana joke... oh, it's absolutely premium!!!
Spellbot so obvious a great character combo to make.
The Return of Cohn Jena I didn't know I needed
Anyone else is DM roll the dice behind the screen and then smiled manically waiting for you to take your turn
I don’t like wrestling but I like Cena. It’s like he’s a small “the rock”
All the shirts were great, but I love that the warforged player had a FNAF shirt X3
I try to wear vaguely appropriate shirts for the editions.
@@JR-sp5nx nice
Love how Sara forgot to roll 3 different attack rolls for the 3 different Eldritch Blast beams lol; also for any players out there who want to optimize their EB, Fighter 2 + Sorcerer 3+ for Action Surge + Quicken, especially if done after both Hexblade's Curse and something like the Hex spell (or Bestow Curse set to add Necrotic damage, or Spirit Shroud if you're close enough to use it, etc) and you can, at a high enough level, throw out 12 beams in a single shot, potentially doing >100 damage in a single turn (possibly with additional effects if the DM rules that Repelling Blast into a wall directly behind them does something, or else if you push them off a cliff after they go 120 feet back, etc).
I was really hoping Waylon was going to cast Reverse Gravity, Sarah was going to Eldritch Blast him with Hex up, and eventually just drop him for max fall damage.
Ok, first she rolled only one attack for 3 eldritch blast rays, then he only rolled once to hit with scorching ray. To quote a fellow player of mine: "know your stuff!"
"I am a warlock." So true
4:21. 3 beams require 3 separate attack rolls, especially when coming from a cantrip.
