What an accomplishment, Emma! Gorgeous hike, also. Bears are well-fed in the fall and probably at their mellowest. It's male moose, elk and deer that get territorial in the fall during the rut and you are wise to use caution.

Hello Emma. Love your channel and some of the beautiful places you've been are absolutely gorgeous. Just a side note the proper terminology for Moose at this time of year is that they are in the rut. Amazing mountain scenery... and adventure. Good for you [though it is a bit risky hiking such terrain on your own]. Yes, I know "cell-phones, etc". My elderly friend used to say the same thing about riding her horse alone until the day it threw her in the middle of nowhere as night was approaching and she landed on her cell-phone and wrote it off. She was lucky someone came by on that horse-trail only two hours later. Anyway, you're young; I'm not. Caution is a prison for the old; enjoy your youth and freedom.

Emma, do you carry bear spray with you? If not I think you might want to get some. Just in case. How do you block out the camera stick, does your camera do that or is it in editing? You are such a beautiful young lady.
They make invisible selfie sticks now. lol jk, its AI thats built into the camera
not AI, the 360 cam has been around for longer than modern AI image technology has, it’s more image stitching. From what I understand the camera takes multiple shots with multiple different lenses and puts the images together to form a final image, and the lenses are angled in a certain way where the stick rests in a “grey zone” that the camera stitches images over. That’s why you dont see the stick but in most lighting you CAN see the shadow of the stick, because the shadow doesn’t always rest in the “grey zone”.
If that makes ANY sense whatsoever lol it’s hard to explain without you being able to play with the footage.
As for bear spray, it sits on my right hip in almost every video I make :)
@@Emma-and-BusBus Thank Emma, I've heard of the 360 cam but didn't know it could do that. The few videos that I've seen were ones that you could click and drag the screen to see different directions. I've not noticed the spray on you, but I'm glad that you have some.😀
