What are the main causes of acne? Not just like those stubborn pimples but widespread acne.
nek nek multiple things. Hormones, diet(although debatable), a big one is genetics, you can have good genetics and eat whatever you want and do whatever and won’t get one pimple. I known people who won’t get one pimple and their is me who eats one dairy product before bed and gets a whole white head. 😂 Stress can cause acne, but acne causes stress so that’s like a never ending cycle of acne basically.

@@jakemcmindes6386 Sorry for the late reply. My notifications were turned off. But Zinc is excellent for acne. I had cystic hormonal acne, everyday I had a new pimple. It was fucking horrible. Optizinc calmed it down, reduced the redness, made less pimples come, plus its good for the immune system. What really helped me tho was Cod Liver Oil. Literally reduce pimples the next day! I bought Carlsons Cod Liver Oil and honestly that worked best, but it has synthetic vitamin a so I wouldnt feel comfortable recommending that. I will recommend Nordic Naturals because that is natural. Butttt......buy the cod liver oil. You can get it from anywhere. It works. Let me know how it goes! Good luck

I took accutane for 6 months in 2009. I experienced severe depression and anxiety. My lips and skin were so sensitive to sunlight and I played baseball in high school. It was a really rough time but my acne was so extreme, my derm was afraid of permanent deep scarring. I’m 24 now and my skin rarely and I mean rarely breaks out. If you’re considering accutane, just know the side effects can be pretty crappy. I guess I just hope someone sees this and remembers - your acne does not define you and you’re perfect the way you are. You’ll grow out of it. Proud of the maker of this video

I took acutane for 6 months when i was 25. Im now 34, yes i get one or two break outs from time to time but my acne problem never returned. So happy i gave it a try

Could be a allergy or your skin absorbed the creams wrong and just dumped it all across your face
I'm not a trained professional, but here's what I've learned through out my years of acne. If your using active ingredients, your probably purging which will take somewhere from 1-6 weeks i'm pretty sure. I'm not going to go into full detail, but purging is the step where your "baby" acne (I was told that acne starts under the skin) are being forced to be pushed into the surface of your skin. Even though your face was acne free, there may have been acne underneath. Your active ingredients will be pushing them up so they can start "healing" your skin. But, I may be totally wrong and you may be breaking out. You should do some research about purging and breaking out, and or talk a dermatologist. Every things up to you, but good luck. I wish you the very best! :)
Im not a skincare professionalist, but from years of having severe acne I've learned some things. Did you have a skincare regimen in place before? If not, it could be because these new chemicals and such are new to your face, and you r skin doesnt know how to react, so you may experience irritation and breakouts.Just like what the person above this comment stated, your skin purges all the impurities that are deep within your pores. Now, this also depends on what skincare products you're using.If you're using products and cleansers that contain something like charcoal, clay, or any other products that bring out impurities, you may experience this. Clay and charcoal help bring out the gunk deep within the skin out, and in the process you will experience acne. This is a good thing, somewhat, because it is getting future breakouts over and done with. I wish you the best on trying to get rid of your acne, good luck!

It’s a miracle drug. I took it when I was a teen and my acne cleared up for good! I’m 30 now and it never came back. Good for you
ok so a lot of people have been saying they don't recommend accutane but it's different for everyone including the side effects and tolerability. i suggest you do your research before going on and ask questions. personally i didn't have any after effects and the side effects were tolerable however many people claim it ruined their health. i am curious to know how this has affected you negatively or positively so if you have gone on accutane please share your experience! it could help other people
learsi arce PLEASE NEVER USE IT AGAIN! I know numerous people who became infertile because of accutane. My uncle and aunty were devastated to find out that it was basically impossible to have a child because they were both on accutane as teenagers. Accutane also can cause severe depression, nausea, headaches and overall hormonal issues as by taking accutane for an extended period of time makes your body reliant on it . This can mean that your hormones will be wacko for ages causing acne. This cycle can be dangerous and hard to get out of. My stepbrother used accutane from 15-18 then stopped for a month and the acne returned worse than ever. He is now almost 25 and still on accutane because if he spends a couple days off it his acne will return and return worse then it was before. I have severe cystic acne and use other medication that helps and doesn’t have any of the side effects of accutane. Please talk to your doctor and do some research, especially if you want children someday and don’t want to be reliant on it.

I understand that the sideeffects might have hurt you or your family, but these scare-tactics dont benefit anyone. Just talk to a qualified doctor and let them tell you the pros/cons. They will be Objective, and most countries are very restrictive about accutane perscriptions anyway. Here where i live they take blood-samples monthly and check your family history for potential weak genes or organs that could be affected by accutane. Accutane is drug, a drug should be treated with caution, and should be justified with research. Any drug can and WILL be harmful if used recklessly.

You are not suppose to use accutane longer than 6 months. That’s what my derma said. Never skip so you wont have to extend it.

I used to not have any acne, just the usual one or two pimples. In October 2020 I started breaking out so bad and I tried everything and nothing worked. I went to a dermatologist in February 2021, and I finally get to start my accutane today March 30th and i'm so, so excited. Your results look great and I really hope it works out for me. My acne wasn’t terribly bad, it was milder on my face and pretty rough on my back, but being almost 19 and still having consistent acne just got old for me. I’ve tried multiple different brands and none of them really did anything. I started taking Accutane back in August of 2018, and since then my face has cleared and my back is spotless, only down sides are that it’s crazy how dry you get. Especially during the winter if you live somewhere cold, dry, and snowy. (I live in the Midwest so we get all of that lol) Also the joint and back pains are sucky but it’s bearable. However it’s all worth it in the end, Accutane is a cure for acne, anyone who suffers from bad acne should consider.

I am 16 years old, 1.60m tall and have severe acne for which isotretinoin treatment was recommended. However, I have read that this drug blocks growth and since I do not want to stay fixed at 1.60 I am worried. Is this true? I have also been growing visibly lately and I would not want to stop this growth. My short stature could cause me even more discomfort than acne scars. What do you recommend?

I used to take my clear skin for granted whenever I got like five little pimples I would freak out and then I got severe acne and it was everywhere and I cried every night because of it it's getting better every day now but it's still there and it's still noticeable and it ruins my day but I've learned to live with it and when you have it all you think about is how pretty you would be without it when before you were nitpicking everything about your face but now all you want is just clear skin.
