- My accutane journey has come to a close. It’s been a JOURNEY FRIENDS. Anyone who struggles with acne understands how damaging it can be to your mental health. It’s truly impossible to explain unless you go through it. I have been so grateful to take this medicine to that I really didnt like to complain about side effects. I will say this year I’ve been more tired than I’ve ever been on this medication and I’m so excited to get my energy back in the coming months 🥹💛 accutane is amazing worked so well for me but it truly is brutal and needs to be a last resort. I am in no way promoting accutane to be clear, just sharing my journey 💛 have you ever struggled with acne?

@@anonymousor213its a very high risk drug. Idk if it’s different now but years ago it was a chemotherapy drug.
I have cystic acne. It's well controlled now that I'm MUCH older, but when I see blemishes like that I'm not disgusted. I only worry that the person is suffering; mine just hurt so badly. Your clear skin shows me painlessness, and while that's a relief, your acne doesn't change how lovely you are. Never has.

What a shockingly awful thing to say to somebody. Like you say, you and all that support you are beautiful inside and out, pure souls, and the person who said that disgusting comment has to live with themselves. Keep being lovely you India x

People who say that act like acne is our choice. As someone who struggled with acne for years while I was using good skin care brands and expensive stuff and just not seeing good results, it’s really hurtful. Some people are just made different. It’s like being mad at someone for having diabetes, they didn’t choose that and their trying their best to manage it. Maybe that’s a bad example, but it makes me mad that someone would say someone was ugly because of something that isn’t their fault and isn’t their choice.

I have been Struggling With Acne for about 5 years .. and every time I started using skincare my skin break out badly so i decided to let it be like this and i focus more on my mental health and started ignoring these acne cause I'm pissed now .. btw I'm a teenager I have struggling with mild acne when I was in 6th grade .. but now I love myself moreee as I started seeing these pretty womens on social media who is making me love my skin as it is yeah I get so much hate and people bully me over it ! But idfc and i love myself so I advise you people too to love yourself as you are ! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful before and after, I’ve learned not to wait for people to make me feel pretty. I can feel pretty without having to wait for people to realize that. You are beautiful, let yourself feel that in-spite of people not realizing it.

I had some bad acne in 5th and 6th grade, and nobody really said anything to make fun of me, but one of my friends in 5th grade pointed out 3 pimples that were lined up on top of my eyebrow (sorry, ik that's kinda gross) and started laughing about it because she said she had never seen anything like it. That made me SUPER self conscious about my acne for a while. And this girl was a very nice girl too, and ik she wasn't trying to be rude, but words can hurt.

Of course, you are beautiful. Some of us aren't, and I was especially gross in high school in the 70s with my face broken out. I tried to hide it with makeup, and I made it worse. I wish my mom would have taken me to the doctor, but she refused. I wish I'd had good products to help it, but I didn't. I was overweight and suidcidal

Man I've suffered with acne since I was around 11-12. Accutane absolutely saved my skin back in 2020. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Wanted to tell that you're beautiful from the very start. Acne is a skin condition, and your beautiful face: your eyes, lips, all your face features - will always be with you!
My sister went through this and it was very hard for her, she was brutally bullied in high school. She was painfully shy, and hid behind her straight hair and had zero self esteem. She was offered a 7 year scholarship to Williams College, a mini ivy league, and had a silent benefactor, who paid for her teeth to get fixed, bought her all new clothes and everything she needed for college life for the entire first 4 years, because my parents were too poor to even buy books. He paid for Accutane abd it was hard but she did it over the summer and be the time she went her freshman year, her confidence level was boosted, she came out of her shell, and had the best college experience. Sweetest angel on earth she is. So thank you for being so open and sharing this. It is so important that people see how beauty is not dependent on perfection. Rather the character we develop from experiences. Thank you, sweet girl India❣️

I just want to say, sometimes accutane is absolutely needed and sometimes it's not. If you have had awful, painful acne and have had it for years and have tried everything, I would then recommend accutane. Accutane is very hard on your body, my liver started having a lot of issues with accutane, one of my piercings got so bad getting it to heal from a infection that required a emergency doctor trip took it 9 months. And I had to go to the er for a bloody nose caused by accutane even tho I was keeping it hydrated. I would not recommend it to anyone, and I needed accutane bad. Just please stay safe and realize this isn't a light drug, and you are beautiful with or without acne. ❤
@@anonymousor213 it did not completely clear up after 9 months, after using a typical antibiotic and retinol it then cleared up, but accutane did help a lot

Do not let acne and haters stop you from living your best life. You are beautiful with acne and you are beautiful without acne. No matter what, there is nothing wrong with you. But the relief of not having to go through harder times is a very nice feeling

Aight, ima say it. Think it was like the 2nd and 4th picture you put in there, STUNNING. Honestly some of the most beautiful pictures ive seen of our girl India. I hate how much hate people give peeps with acne, did yall not see the way her skin blemishes accentuated the beauty or her eyes?? The contrast of her skin, hair and eye colours?? When are we going to learn to look at people and just admit that uniqueness is the most beautiful aspect we can celebrate?? Seriously, we need to start getting over this toxic obsessive need to force ourselves to all fit the mold of copy pasting what's on the front covers of vogue. Just be ourselves dammit, the misery we put ourselves through and then projecting that ish onto others while getting robbed by big brands profiting off of so called insecurities. good on you, i was one of the first in the UK to have this treatment in the early 1980s and it was hell but i would do it again in a heartbeat. I still have dry lips to this day!!
