Who cares if it’s more of a built or if it’s not true to its original. It still is a masterwork of craftsmanship and imagine receiving it just how you saw it when you first opened the box. Knowing it can serve you for another how long the wallet serviced for and all the memories will continue to grow
Yeah, and it looks like Korean characters on that newspaper, which makes me think it's a higher quality fake made in Korea. However the restoration job was well done, regardless of the actual product!

What continent you work out of? I've got 1 keyholder, 1 card wallet from Louis Vuitton that need refurbishing. -Some re-coloring on the inside, new zipper, a bit warped, maybe fixing 2cm of stiching..
You can go to Goodwill stores and find Aigner jackets cheap sometimes. I've repaired those before. A wallet to me is not worth it. Purses are not as complicated. Worn jackets can be cut up to make those.

I would be more interested in seeing what can be done to condition the original wallet, how to treat the leather to make it look not like new but just a little better, without replacing leather parts, only some thread, if absolutely necessary.

Magnifique restauration /reconstitution du beau travail d’artisan comme on en trouve plus. Il faudrait savoir le pays et l’adresse pour vous envoyer nos plus beaux articles de luxe qu’on a pus s’achetèrent auquel on tient . Et qui sont dégradés aujourd’hui .

Now we know that it’s a fake or counterfeit product. Instead of rebuilt a fake, I’d just throw it out and buy an original one.

We're nearing ship of Theseus levels with this restoration.
1月に他界した妻に昔買ってもらった財布がボロボロなので自分で修理する事にしました。
でも革と糸を入手してからそのまま何もしていませんでした。財布をバラバラに分解するのが怖くて綺麗に修理して戻せるか不安で作業に入るのが気乗りしなかったのです。
でも今日、自分で検索したわけでもないのに何故かこの動画がおすすめに出てきたのでつい見てしまいました。
おすすめ動画に出てきて少しビックリしたけど、とても参考になりました。
そして妻が修理を後押ししてくれているような気がして、修理をする気持ちを新たにしました。
