Can you procide me with more guidance for getting the right steps to have this font. Otherwise, can I continue the exercises without having this font installed?

Even with the correct font installed AE CC refuses to acknowledge the existence of this font, despite restarting the system. The font shows up in the font book and can be selected inside AE, but the program file you have shows the error message of the font not being installed regardless. I think this is because the font you link to is called Lemon Milk with a space, not LEMONMILK as it is in your file. There is also no itallic version available. There is light italic, bold itallic and regular itallic, but not simply 'itallic.'

I just bought the resources and am starting your training. All looks really good (and half the cost of current Udemy courses) but I encountered a block immediately. How do I install the font? You went right by without explaining....except that I should do it. ***ONCE DOWNLOADED*** Once downloaded be sure to install the font so it works in your After Effects documents and place your font file in this folder. It may be outside the scope of this AE course but you might want to insert a link to a YT video that would explain. Unfortunately, when I looked at three of them, they all showed these wereTTL files. None on the Lemongrass zip has this type of file. Hi Gareth, I love your tutorials and am currently working along with the After Effects series. Unfortunately, AE isn't' recognising the Lemon Milk font I installed. I'm using a 2019 Macbook Pro and a relatively recent version of AE (17.0.5). It's not a huge problem (at this early stage) but the substitute font used is resulting in the animated pin drop icons not being aligned with the text. I'm concerned this will result in unnecessary complications later in the course. Any thoughts or advice on how this might be resolved would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the inconvenience. A lot of people have bought the project folder, but I am having very few comments about the font. I think it's working for most people, but some people are having issues with it. I tested it thoroughly on both PC and Mac before releasing the download folder, which worked fine. So there are some unforeseen issues with some people with the font. From the feedback, I have learned that people with the issue resolve it, by installing the Lemon Milk font once they download it, and then simply selecting the type in AE and re-selecting the font in the character panel. For some reason, it does not recognise it when you open the file, but when you change the font to Lemon Milk, once you have installed it that works.

Please buy the project file to support the work , it's not expansive. If u got after effects, it's almost 30€ each month, so if you follow the course you're able to pay 7€ once for that great value beginner introduction to AE. The best way to REALLY support that guy.

If you are having troubles with the font on Windows like myself, after downloading you just have to change the font on the text layers manually to LEMON MILK LIGHT, once you favourite the font it's only a couple of clicks per text layer and you're ready to go in a couple of minutes

Yeah! I just did the same, took me a minute but all I had to do was type "L" in the font name in the characters panel, and it automatically set it to the LEMON MILK I had installed. Not a big deal after all, thankfully :)

I like some others in the comments am having an issue with the font. It seems like the actual font file name has been changed slightly. In the project it's [LemonMilk] and [LemonMilkItalic] but the downloaded fonts don't match that exact file name, so they aren't linking. Is there a way to relink them manually without doing each layer one by one? Maybe by changing the font file name before installing? Still trying to solve it myself.

But when it comes to download the special font you used, in following your steps, I noted that the line : "Get the font here.rtf" is greayed which means that when I click on it, nothing happens. Same here. I think it's because the LemonMilk font has been updated with more variety since he made the AE project.

Hello. I just discovered your tutorials (by the way, excellent). I bought the GFS set. But when it comes to download the special font you used, in following your steps, I noted that the line : "Get the font here.rtf" is greayed which means that when I click on it, nothing happens. Is there any change made since the creation of the tutorials ? How can I get this font installed, since the way you suggested does not seem to work.. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The project folder and PDFs aren't for free, but for 5 dollars. We can't pay dollars which is really expensive for Arabs

Im sure this is a fantastic tutorial, but I cannot get the font to appear in the project automatically. Judging by the comments this is an ongoing issue, but 4 years after years after you have published this series, perhaps it's time for an update. Why frustrate new students when they are just getting started?
