- I wanted to go ahead and look at all the upcoming five nights of Freddy's fan games that had not been released yet. And see if any of these games could capture my attention and actually get me excited for it to release. So I did just that. And what I found was actually a ton of games that looked very promising based on their teaser trailers and screenshots. So today I present to you my top 5 most anticipated five nights at Freddy's fan games.

Heads up! Chompers got cancelled and JR's is delayed. The devs, Ultranite and Ramenov got into some major drama.

@@moonchiidrmx4362 try and filter it by clicking on the button that says "Newest first" I saw some other comments also mentioning that Chompers got canceled, I'm not sure how it is on PC though.
I thought JR’s also got canceled.
I'm really hyped for Rat Race.
The idea for an online multiplayer game that's similar to Fnaf is quite interesting. And after that "Chicken Legs" teaser, I could only hope to see what's in store next in the near future.

That barely looks like a DOOM game, crazy to say people taking advantage of GZDoom's engine capabilities, however I could have sworn GZDoom had very poor multiplayer functions thus why engines like Zandronum are often used (including myself.) Reminds me of how Total Chaos looks nothing like a DOOM game with 3d models and all, at first I thought this FNAF game looked bad but for GZDoom it is very impressive, might get my DOOM buddies to play some of it.

For the Chomper’s one. The map Lay-out resembling or flat out being the FNAF 1 layout makes sense since you said the owner DID buy the fazbear location after it closed down. Just a weird thing I thought of ^^

It really sucks, but at least the rest of the JR's devs who (essentially bystanders who knew slim to nothing about this shit) were able to take what they had and just isolate Ramenov entirely from the project

The animatronics in JRS and rat race remind me of battingtons renders

honestly rat race seems too good to be true
so i feel like its just creators over estimating their abilities
and feel like it will be cancelled

Luminance (The devs of rat race) have a VERY good track record (search up TRTF 2 winter wonderland) and are a team of around 9 people so I trust them to pull it off, they already have servers set up, sure it's rather ambitious but I trust luminance to pull it off

Finally! Someone who is excited for The Rat Cave! The premise seems super interesting, the graphics look incredible, and the gameplay loop sounds fun!
The game engine is listed on Game Jolt, it seems Jr's is using Clickteam Fusion + Pre-rendered graphics

@Calvatron, turns out he and the lead dev of chompers were huge scumbags and were part of a group called the pear, it was full of stolen info from upcoming FNAF games, they were going to leak the info to ruin games like Popgoes: Evergreen, Theftking did an amazing video on it called “The FNAF Fanverse was attacked!” and now Chompers is cancelled and JR’s is delayed.
I am still waiting for a game developer to try and make a Rockafire Explosion FNAF fan game… Honestly it would be interesting, tbh the Rockafire animatronics are way more interesting than Chuck E. Cheese ones.
probably won't happen due to rockafire being REALLY PROTECTIVE wirh their characters unlike CEC (heck billy bob was renamed to "the bear" in FNACEC to avoid issues)
Rat race could literally be not marketed as a fnaf fan game and it would still be heavily anticipated
Dear goodness this aged badly, JR’s and Chomper’s mainly (rip Chomper’s, the one I was literally the MOST hyped for).
Same was so excited about chomped ultralight was a real scum

Hey PlainTrace! Just to let you know, JRs is presumably taking place in that weird out of place restaurant in Midnight Motorist from FNAF 6 called, well, JRs. Just letting you know!
(Also, it is widely believed that that restaurant I mentioned [named Jrs] is the location you are in from FNAF 2. This explains why Mangle is in Jrs [the fangame].)
BB is also in the game. And JJ presumably.

Scott most likely won’t care about it, since you have to actually own FNaF 1 - 3 on Steam to even be able to play each of the games.
However, Lego might be an issue. But, then again, there’s plenty of other fan games that use other popular IPs and such, that haven’t been taken down (Like FNaCEC, FNaTI, FNaW, etc).
So, hopefully LEGO FNaF comes out and everyone can play it ‘til the end of time :)
Also, from what i remember, Lego is actually really nice with their consumers and since its a fan game it wont monetize on it.

@@vreikezen8268 In order to play Lego FNaF 1, 2, or 3, you MUST own the original FNaF 1, 2, or 3 on Steam in order to play them.
Example :
I own FNaF 1 and 2 on Steam. So, when Lego FNaF releases, I can play Lego FNaF 1 and 2 because I own the original FNaF 1 and 2 on Steam.
However, I wouldn’t be able to play Lego FNaF 3 because I do not own the original FNaF 3 on Steam.
This is simply to avoid any legal trouble from Scott. Since, they’re literally remaking FNaF 1 - 3 but with Lego graphics.

Dude, Rat Race looks awesome! I also can't believe that they're making a multiplayer FNAF game in CLICKTEAM FUSION! The only times I've ever seen a multiplayer FNAF game/mod are usually in 3d engines like Unity or Unreal.

Basically, the developers of Jr’s and Chompers where a part of a group called “The Pear.” This group attempted to gather information on fan-verse games by becoming friends with the developers, and then proceeded to leak the information they gathered, the information that they abused peoples trust to gain. This information became public little over a month ago, and since then Chompers was cancelled due to the controversy, while Jr’s is getting backlash, but is apparently still under development

The game I’m most hyped for, is Pyro-Illusion (also known as Five Nights at Roxy’s.) It is very well polished looking and it’s inspired by Sister Location. More of a classic gameplay loop (from what we’ve seen so far) and the voice acting is insanely good. The animations are clean, and the game seems familiar, while also trying something new stylistically. By far the most hyped I’ve been by a game
well its been in the works since like 2017, still hyped for it to this day.

My most anticipated game is Rat Race, Mainly because it's a great game for screwing around with your friends!

@@alexhiser4073 they might make each animatronic behave the same, since it's probably going to be up to the players to use them to harass each other, but i could definitely see a meta building up around skill tree choices

The best part about chompers is that the player has so much IQ, they have someone fix the camera in the kitchen!

Cod I remember when fan games started to become popular. My early middle school self really really wanted to make one lol. I made characters for it ((tho they where horrible)) I had so many ideas and either will admit my main idea for it was original yet stupid and impossible. I might redesign some of the characters for fun tho

Lego FNAF requires you own the base game on steam, and the first one is now out. I'd say the odds of it going away are low
(Edit) Just found out from a copyright/trademark shill that this was in fact not the case. Apparently LEGO has decided that a high effort free meme game was enough of a threat to their brand to justify taking it down.
I guess a lot of people didn't realize LEGO still has legal rights to take it down because it's still profiting off the LEGO brand (by making people buy scotts games to play it, which scott never authorized nor did LEGO).
