Yall gotta read the night lord trilogy called soul hunter,blood reaver and void walker, those books made me like the night lords but the characters in it of first claw made such a good blood brother type of book but everyone of the night lords also hate each other
Astartes are able to form bonds that go beyond simple friendship. Pollux and Dantioch are another example of this. As much as they like to think they are above humans and being trans human, they are very much still humans.
None primaris had the full range of human emotions. Primaris training has much, much more mental indoctrination. So much less of a personality and emotions.
They have no sex drive if that's what you're asking, but they can form deep bonds. The Salamanders are the best examples of this, where they are encouraged to maintain close ties to their families and friends after they become astartes, so they can be reminded of what they fight for.
@@phantomwraith1984 Ultramarines as well. When not activly on duty or doing Chapter tasks, they serve as administrators across Ultramar. They know how to deal with people and talk to them as equals.

If Argel Tal ended up as Warmaster, Chaos would not have lasted past the Great Scouring. The guy might have been a good character but someone so naive would never make it as Warmaster
