I am really excited to try this one! So cool that you can choose families 🥰 And thanks God for fast road building because for real it was pain in a$$ 😅
@@nobodyknows791 When it comes to roads, Civ 6 went one step further and just created them automatically once you created trade routes. Surprised it took this long for the "fuck building roads" sentiment reached designers lol
First of: big fan! To answer your question, I wasn't sure it was supposed to be a lot, but might have to do with the not so high difficulty I played at. Allowed me to build quite a bit of infrastructure that gave me some good cognomens along the way. The setup: No mods, Seaside map max size, normal AI, weak tribes, fledgling development, normal event density, normal character lifespan. The game: 5 ambitions achieved, 3 legacies, 57 from events [chose those that gave this as a reward more often], the rest from leaders. Said leaders included four that had between 2 and 6 legitimacy [short rules usually], two Fountainheads with 12 and 30 respectively [first was the insane cousin that lived until 90, second was his grandson that despite living until 60, he rules since he was like 20], and the ruler I ended the game with has 20 with the Ambitious Cognomen, aged 47. Lost the game on Victory Points, since I went for a very passive playthrough.
@@DarthZombie510 yeah, that's a lot from event - people often underestimate the value of legitimacy - and you benefited from long reigns. Presumably, you passed on something else when you took all the legitimacy, so it would be interesting to try an opposite playthrough.
@@neros84 Yes, I ended up with over 150 orders but losing the game, so clearly things went not the way I wanted lol. It definitely takes a bit of shaking of old habits of playing Civilization, because the Ambitions and Points victory conditions demand a more focused playstyle in Old World.
lets goooo
Let's facking go mate, let's facking go!
Finally some game I know and played 😁
Technically, it's the same game for the most part. Soren Johnson had a great mindset when he set out to make Old World

Thanks for the thoughts - I'm actually curious how you got to 200 Legitimacy as that is a lot. Any chance you have the breakdown of that?
