I’m a huge JD fan and can say for green label, it was both aged on the first floor and younger. It also is sold in a handful of states (5-7 but I can’t remember the exact number). It supposedly is being discontinued.
awesome vid! native Nashvillian here and you went to all my favorite stores south of town..... if you come back you can't pass up Cork and Bottle or Fruggals ;)
Congratulations- my wife and I were up your way the last week. Did the bourbon trail. Didn’t buy too much in Nashville. Other than Belle Mead tasting that was quite fun.
Antoher great video! I love how you look for bottles that you can't find back home and don't concentrate on the hard-to-find allocated bottles. I'm going to KY next week and I'm looking forward to finding bottles that we can't find/get in IN.
I am like 2 seconds into this video, and I'm already so excited. Your Bardstown hunting video is directly responsible for me getting a lot of the good bottles that I got last month when I was in Kentucky. You are doing great work!
During the tasting part of the Jack Daniels tours the guides describe the Green Label as a "stronger whiskey" flavor that stands up to mixers a little better... grabbed a bottle and didn't think it was worth the effort.
Who’s that guy at 06:15 looking like a goober? 😆 Such an awesome time at WWB5, so great to meet you guys, and so cool to be there for 100K. Congrats again you two!
We were at Red Dog Wine & Spirits in 2006 when the red dog and original owner Bard Quillman were still alive. I think the sign thing has something to do with beer selling in separate stores per Tennessee law.
Chad & Sara congrats on your 100K subscribers. Keep up with the great videos that you both are doing. I do enjoy them very much. You both are awesome!👏🏽👍🏽
You coming to the St. Louis bourbon festival this year? If so stop in at ABV bottle shop in Arnold. It’s about 30 minutes south of downtown StL. They specialize in only store picks. You get to sample at ABV as well.
Congrats guys. Enjoying your videos. I’m mostly a scotch & Irish Whiskey guy, but recently found myself thoroughly enjoying Iron Root Harbinger. I picked up the saints Alley on your recommendation & am looking forward to trying it. Cheers.
Sucks we can't get EW Green here in Kentucky. Been trying to get a bottle (probably should have brought bottles from TN when we moved but I had no way of knowing it's not sold here).
Elixir is one of the best stores in the greater Nashville area for sure. Next time you're in town, plan to stay awhile and let Tarak the owner sample you on some of the bottles. You WILL need to eat afterwards, though.
Its been over a year now but a review of that buzzards roost might be nice. I had a fort benning store pick not that long ago and it was really good. I hope more people start to talk about this brand
Tincup 10 year said American Whiskey because the normal Tincup is a blend of bourbon and Stranahan's, but the 10 year is just bourbon. Label is very confusing, especially since they changed it a few times (I think the current label isn't confusing and just says bourbon)
Pro tip: most Nashville locations hold back their better bourbons, the hard to find stuff. To have a chance of buying it, you typically need to be part of their “club”, and then it’s a lottery draw of club members to buy highly allocated stuff. Nashville is heavily picked over, most stores repeat what everyone else has with a few exceptions.
My recollection concerning Jack Daniel's Green vs Black was back in the 80s when I was in HS Black Label was 90 Proof and Green Label was 80 proof ... and the Black Label was a few bucks more and considered the *real* Jack. Of course now both are 80 proof - so I'm guessing the Green Label are just rejected Black Label barrels that they sell for a little less.
Now, y'all know I'm a Nashville local. Next time you want to do one of these "hunting in Nashville" videos, let me know and I'll tell you where the good stuff is hiding. ;)
Congrats!
Thank ya, sir!

Native here too 🤙
Congrats on 100k! Glad to see you stopped at CSW&S. They are one of the best in Nashville. Love that place.
It’s always nice looking for whiskey in Nashville. I always pick up Leipers Fork bottles when down there.
Congratulations- my wife and I were up your way the last week. Did the bourbon trail. Didn’t buy too much in Nashville. Other than Belle Mead tasting that was quite fun.
Great video, as always. Going bourbon hunting with you is fun every time.
Love the bourbon hunts! My wife and I have started our bourbon hunts together and it's really fun! Thanks for the amazing videos!
Congratulations you two. Cutest whiskey couple. You deserve it.😊
Congrats to 2 very nice people. Enjoy the success. I'm sure was harder work than people realize.
Thank you!!

Congrats and well deserved! A good day out shopping! Have a great weekend!
Well done folks! Nice way to celebrate! 🤠🥃😎🥃
I toured Leiper's Fork back in 2021. Loved that place! Great location and really friendly staff.

Congrats on the 100K milestone, keep up the good work bringing bourbon goodness to us all!!
Congrats! I have family in Franklin and definitely love that Cool Springs store. So many picks!!
Great bottle hunt, interesting bottles. Thanks for taking us along again. Congrats on 100k 🎉.
the shelf label on that weird heart-shaped bottle at 4:55 said 'go along whiskey'
The first store is my home store! Cool Springs W&S is the BEST!
Going to Nashville this weekend so this is very timely for me!
This would have been very useful 12 days ago. There are lots of good spots for whisky shopping in the Nashville area. Great video! ❤️
Franklin is home. Glad y’all came down.
Congratulations on the milestone. You picked my favorite places to shop in the area. Stay safe and keep up the great content!
It was 10+ years ago, but when we lived around there, the Red Dog for whom the store was named was still around and very friendly!
Love your content! That bottle at 4:53 looks like Goaling Chinese Single Malt. I've seen that bottle before and have always been curious to try it.
During the tasting part of the Jack Daniels tours the guides describe the Green Label as a "stronger whiskey" flavor that stands up to mixers a little better... grabbed a bottle and didn't think it was worth the effort.
TN has the goods. I'm from the Mountain West and I did some hunting down there years ago. Way more selection in general than we get anywhere out here.
Who’s that guy at 06:15 looking like a goober? 😆 Such an awesome time at WWB5, so great to meet you guys, and so cool to be there for 100K. Congrats again you two!
A dashing looking gentleman! Great to meet you all, too!
0:35 broke me. Hilarious! - Greeze
:) I loved those rooms! And 13:41 broke me. Thanks for hosting us! - Chad

Congrats guys. Well deserved. Best channel on UA-cam.
Thank you!!!

Congrats on 100k. Y'all were one of my first whiskey channel subs. The blind flight fights did it for me. Still love the price dependent brackets.
I was at the Jack Daniels distillery last September and that was the last day for the Green Label. It has been discontinued.
Congrats on 100,000 subscribers. What a great achievement. 🥃
Y’all are in the expensive part of town lol.. and the green bottles of Jack are decaf 👍
Those CSWS picks have been there for quite a while
They had a Russel’s pick in when i went in last week that is awesome
Congrats to you guys, good work
do not sleep on that driftless glen!
Big congrats - well deserved!!
Need to visit Parkway next time you're in Nashville. I stumbled upon them last I traveled there
Congrats guys. Enjoying your videos. I’m mostly a scotch & Irish Whiskey guy, but recently found myself thoroughly enjoying Iron Root Harbinger. I picked up the saints Alley on your recommendation & am looking forward to trying it. Cheers.
Thanks, hope you like it!
CONGRATULATIONS on 100K 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 keep up the great work 🥃
That is awesome!!! Congratulations on 100k!!!
Buzzards roost cask strength bourbon is awesome!!!!
I enjoy your videos, You guys are awesome!
Been with ya from the beginning CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎉
Thank you!!!
The pretty bottle at the second store was a World Whiskey society bottle
Congrats, you guys are awesome!

Wow that's awesome video pick up bottle of Blontons Gold Bourbon yesterday did a pre order early this month on line got it for $139.00 Canadain 🇨🇦😍😋
Love these hunting videos
TINCUP® 10 Year is a straight bourbon whiskey cut with Rocky Mountain water.
Love your hunting videos! Keep It Up
That crazy bottle is from the World Whiskey Society 5 year old Chinese Single Malt

Agree, Tarak runs a great little store. Elixir is my go to place.
Its been over a year now but a review of that buzzards roost might be nice. I had a fort benning store pick not that long ago and it was really good. I hope more people start to talk about this brand
As somebody from Nashville that has shopped in many of those stores that you went to you missed out on our best shop.
Just found you 2 yesterday and subscribed
Thanks for sharing. 🥃🐿️
Or a women’s style Drink More Bourbon. Hopefully available before my trip to Kentucky in early September? I am sure I am not alone.
Man thats like pick heaven right there. Im jealous.
I'll be in Lexington 2 weeks from today. Could you do another hunt there please. Thanks
chad should have probably not driven at the end there :-/ ooph. I really am happy ya'll had a great time and are safe

ADHD Whiskey did a video showing that it is indeed a bourbon..
My bottle says “bourbon whiskey”. When I bought it there were actually 3 different label designs on the shelf each with different designations 🤷♂️
Hey! You're in my neck of the woods! Would love to hang out with you two sometime and share a glass!
Love these
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Love those one

I found JD green in one store in NJ but only one store.
Great price on the medley
Congrats from down under on reaching 100k
Review some knobs creek 7 rye
Would love a women’s bourbon night T-shirt when/if it in stock. Just saying. 🥰
I'd argue that JD single barrel, barrel proof is one of the best things you can buy at $65.
Elixer used to be better, but recently anything decent they want to bundle with either a store pick, or wheatleys vodka
I think I would have grabbed the senator at the second store
When bourbon hunting in a new city how you decide which stores to go to? Do you just use Google and go to highly rated places?
Oh to be rich and not have to worry about prices. $60 bottle a month guy myself
Now, y'all know I'm a Nashville local. Next time you want to do one of these "hunting in Nashville" videos, let me know and I'll tell you where the good stuff is hiding. ;)
Is Sara tearing up at the beginning? She is so sweet!
Ummm....Tennessee whiskey.....IS bourbon. ;-)
First!
😊💖🐶🐶🥃
:) 🙋🏾♂
I’ll be honest. Could have used more of the nice guy named DJ.
Nice tax write-off.
the american whiskey is good stuff like westland, more character then that sweet bourbon
Congratulations!
