All flutes are perfectionists (sorry everyone, I have to make a disclaimer, not ALL flutes are perfectionists. Most flute players I have met are perfectionists)

Yep, as a flute player this is correct, and also it’s the percussionist, and our lungs, the percussionist hurt our ears and our lungs just no longer exist
@@XxStrrrbeee_PlayzxX242 the alto saxophones and tenor saxophones are also behind us but we have so many flutes and I’m on the end so I’m not close enough to be overpowered by them

this is so real. the saxophone behind me loves to play as LOUD as she can possibly can and everyone points it out and she just shakes it off. my ears are broken
As a flautist the trumpets and trombones make our lives heck but also, I was playing the wrong notes for four measures straight and I couldn’t tell bc OF THEM
Why is this so true? (I'm in symphonic band in my school) My band director printed a song for us to play, and i couldn't play a high A correctly so i straight up started crying
yes and this is why we are the best section in the band. idk about yall but the clarinets and trumpets hurt me. this is why as sophomores we’re all competing for the junior/senior class and our director has to choose one of us to move up.😂
So trueee im a flute player and when i first started i couldnt get out a sound oht and i was like “hey Ms. Valeria i don’t think i can play the flute” but know i can play the entirety of rush E
If it isn’t right the flutes in my band including me take a second to rage on our flute by playing the highest note we know as loud as we can just for a split second to calm down
reall omg, especially because I sit next to someone who is like top in the region for flute so all of my mistakes feel even WORSE (its ok I love the flute lol)
At my school its the opposite so i play the trumpet and I accidentally finger the note wrong then i correct myself and the music director spends 2 minutes yelling at me. 😭
Nah man, the trumpets are behind me, you're gonna have to say that about 10 more times toll I can make it out. Literally I blame my inability to make out words in conversations on my middle school band years. There was probably 30 trumpets and only 6 or so flutes.
As a flute player- this is 100% correct. Not to mention the trumpets behind us did it. The trumpets hurt our ears and now we’re probably deaf :D (No offense trumpets T^T)
As a floutist i can confirm, when any of us mess up we immediately stpp playing in embarrasment hoping nobody heard (they didn't and its not a big deal)
As a flute player, this is so true just because we feel like no one can hear us and if we can barely even hear ourselves and over percussion and tubas we can’t focus😅
I'm a flutist and this is how I felt after I lost all of my memory of how to play my flute (I'm still relearning because my trauma basically washed away all of my prior knowledge)
The trumpets hurt us! We sit right in front of them and two of the trumpets are always competing to see who can be the loudest. Also, our lungs. Flutes are the quietest, and they take up about as much air as a tuba! (I get dizzy easy, so this can be a nightmare for me sometimes)
Nah, that's to me. Both my director, and his drum major daughter have told me multiple times that it doesn't need to be perfect, and I'm over here spending hours in the band room alone learning the part.
That’s so real. As a flute player learning trombone for marching band, the fact that I can’t play it like I can my 6 years of flute in a month I’ll go crazy
EVERYONE HURTS US, TRUMPETS, SAXOPHONES RIGHT BEHIND US IN OUR EAR, YOU CANT EVEN HEAR US AND EVERYONE IS HATING ON US FOR IT… and we are perfectionists
Me and my friends are flute players and we are always like this and the one time my band directors old band director told us that the smart people were always in the flute section
You know who hurts the flutes, all the other instruments telling us that we are too quiet and sound like a train or a dying animal. - by a flute player... Also another reason most are perfectionists not all but most
My band teacher yells at us when we do something wrong. He also hammered it into our brains that we had to play quieter, and then goes on to tell us that we are playing to quiet. The trombones play way too loud and it’s just “trombones, go ahead and play a little quieter please.” The flutes play a little too quiet and it’s “Flutes, you’re playing too quiet. Play louder.” “We are.” “Then play louder than that.”
You know who hurt the flutes, the trumpets and trombones behind us. Our ears hurt so bad.
And the freaking clarinets squeaking in our ears😭
