2) How does the elite make sure that we remain shackled in this confused state as you rightly put it ?
3) How do the ones in high castles benefit from this confused state economically, politically and keeps their presence as sustainable as it gets ?

Usually, you show mirror/reflection of Pakistanis very boldly. I wish 'Da Bhangi zu da' ko bhi aap openly elaborate kartay aur batatay k kaisay ye zehar hamaray andar ragon tak main ghol dia geya hai.
Thankfully, I was sent to a Missionary school and did my 12 years of schooling there, therefore, I was some what safe from this 'Bhangi zo' poison but seeing fellow countrymen and especially the services of Christian Pakistanis really sometimes brings me to tears and shake my soul.

However, it makes our lives even difficult as survival in a society which has been created over years have spread it's tentacles all across and the thoughts of few who still tries to challenge illegal authority have to face immense challenges to sustain themselves. As you had been an imperative and practical part of this society/system, you explained the matter quite rationally. Such sort of commentary can build the reasoning power and argumentation. Additionally, I think sometimes you have to act situationally, so, to some extent, your boss was right as well when he avoided that molvi (during juma); the same way you kept quiet when someone was talking about the ssp or sp who used to behaved indifferently to the masses and he was appreciating him. You rightly chose to not to correct that jahil possibly such inculcation could harm you either

Agreed to almost 99.99% with a few reservations (as per my thinking which might be wrong).
1. When we say the word "Islamization of society & institution", it is not actually implementation of the real Islamic system rather it is a mix of personal thoughts, beliefs, liking and disliking of someone like Gen Zia or Z.A. Bhutto or anyone else at the throne. Islam is a complete system and combination of law & society which needs its complete and absolute implementation and only then we can say yes this is the real Islamization or the real Islamic system. So whether it is Gen Zia (the fake torch bearer of Islamic System) or Imran Khan (the fake torch bearer of Riyasat e Madina), they have just used the name of Islamic System to fool the public.
2. The real Islamic system starts instructing individuals to obey the laws absolutely and forfeit their personal wish lists and that's where the conflict of interests begins because whether it is the ruler at the throne or the beggar, if Islamic system is truly implemented, they would have to surrender to it and become EQUEL CITIZEN like all others in the society. This EQUALITY SYSTEM based on rule of law is the real bone of contention for the ruler elite class. So the ruler class or primarily THE ESTABLISHMENT creates such environment favorable to their above law system rule and authority and such environment comprises of absence of knowledge of real Islamic law, absence of quality and equal education system, in-equality in authority and responsibility of rulers (whether establishment or legislature or executives or judiciary) and obviously ignorance from rights & responsibility in public.
3. Starting from the top, every tier and aspect of society (individually or collectively) creates its space by interpreting Islamic laws as per their own wish lists and propagate only molded, limited and biased portion of system and proclaims it as the whole true system and declares others as biased and liars and the most alarming part of the story is that there is no forum or institution which can be trusted that it is working 100% as per system and anyone can consult it to report or rectify any such anomaly. Koi acha parhaty bhi nhi thy sara focus hi marny py tha. Gao sy 30 40 sticks banwaty thy or phr hmry samny us ky upr tape lgaty thy. Daily hr teacher 10-30 sticks marty thy. Hmain parhai azaab lag rhi thi, or yeh koi government school nhi tha private school tha. Not only that kuch lrko ky sath to buhat ghlt kam bhi krty thy (ap samjh skty hain ghlt kam!!) Ghr bhi darty howy nhi btaty thy q ky agr ghr waly jaky teacher sy baat kr dy to phir to or shamat a gai hmari, phir to or mar prti thi.
Kuch lrko ko haath bhi nhi lgaty thy jo Zameendaro ky bety thy, ak partition to hmny apni choti age main hi dekh li. Main aksar Allama Iqbal sahab ka mazmoon bar bar prhta tha jis main ak line mjhy buhat tang krti thi, ky Allama Iqbal ko Allama Iqbal unky teachers ny bnaya. Or phir mn apny teachers ko dekhta tha, dil krta tha koi esi cheez ho jo inko lgy or yeh mar jain TBH.
Islamyat ky teacher upr sy dekh ky prhaty thy or kehty thy as it is yad krna hy jo nhi krta tha usko 20 30 sticks to zror prti thi. Ab ja ky pta chla wo to sirf hafiz thy.
Now I'm an Engineer, i went back on a friend's marriage ceremony, to us lrky ny wohi teacher ko bhi bulaya howa tha, wo mjhy mily or bry rukhy andaaz main kehty hain " tery v kujj banya ay ya koi naa " unka dil tha yeh yehi marain inko kuch bhi zindgi main naseeb na ho. Wo school flop ho gya, khtm ho gya as per my perceptions.
Lkin ab bhi kabhi khab ajaey ky main waps us school mn hun to forn paseena ata hy or uth jata hun.
Yeh to Allah ny mujh py karam kiya to main kahin agy University tak ponch gya, or kuch samjh ana shoro hoi.
Btany ko to buhat kuch hy.
