I don’t have any tips but I’m working through the same as you are - so much wax, where to store it, how to get through it, etc. Grouping it all in one space, by vendor, A-Z, has helped. I can see the collection at a glance and it usually, now that I’ve done that, helps me avoid the FOMO of new buys because I already have so much. I feel like Scentsy’s one of the hardest ones because they’ve always got new stuff and it does begin to feel like a chore to try them all, and by the time you’ve finally done it, out with more new collections to try. It’s hard to keep up. And in the meantime, you’re not warming all the scents you know you love, or trying out the new vendor wax. Anyhoo…I’m on this journey with you and look forward to seeing your progress ❤
@@AmandaTheWaxNerd Amanda, yes and yes and yes. Scentsy was really hard for me and it was all the LTOs that got me. Every time I turned around something new was coming out and I had to have it. I’m commenting as I go. Great job on the scentsy org! I did the same with mine, A-Z, but I’ve got mine in clear and easy to access bins currently. The open access of your furniture was a better idea than my bins but I’m gonna make it work until I pare down. The wax can accumulate so quickly. The struggle is real. Okay, back to watching.
@@AmandaTheWaxNerd Amanda so I used to keep all my Scentsy in bins but the scents were starting to intermingle with each other so I took them out of the bins and that had helped with that issue quite a bit. 🤩
@@thefragrancefairy the cube storage/bookshelf idea, like you have, would’ve been better and probably less expensive than all the bins I got, but oh well, here I am with wax and bins galore 😅 My goal is to empty bins and not refill them, with just one bin max per vendor. And these aren’t huge bins, they’re the little clear ones from target meant for storing hats, purses etc. I can fit 40 scentsy bars per bin and I have several 😬

This may be weird but if i feel, guilty "wasting" wax by changing out wax when there is still scent, i put similar wax in an empty BBW jar and melt them all together on a hot place or candle crock.
@@PICCNINJA girl I am in the same boat as you with the guilt. Several people have mentioned this idea of putting wax in a candle jar and crocking it I think I am going to give this a try. 🥰
Was great seeing your collection! I'm definitely using more wax when melting this year in general, which is helping me get through volume. I'm also enjoying my experience more because I'm getting better performance. I don't feel guilty changing out my wax everyday in my open concept even if there is scent still left in it. I like to have different scents daily but if I'm really enjoying a scent, I will move it to another room in the house or just let it run in what ever warmer I had it in until the scent is gone. Just depends on my mood, but more often than not, I will melt it for one day in my open concept and then toss it. I know you enjoy using your candle lamp. I can't remember if you have a candle crock, but an idea would be to put 2 bars or so or a portion of a loaf into an old candle container and melt them like you were melting a candle. A candle container holds more than a warmer will so you could even take a little of this and a little of that, however many scents you want, and make a custom blend.
@@Disis19Hearts hi Di, I think I need to start changing my wax out daily I think that will really help me. I do like the idea if it’s a scent I really like to move it to another location. I do really enjoy using my candle lamp. So when you put a few bars or a loaf in a candle jar does it last several days or even weeks like a candle or does it just burn off real fast like in a couple of days like when you put a piece of wax in a warmer?
@@thefragrancefairy I don't use my candle lamp like most LOL I pretty much use it like wax warmer and I don't melt the same scent day to day to day. I have to have variety ha ha ha. That being said, I think the lasting power of the scent will depend on the strength of your lamp. My most used lamp is a 50w, but I also have a 25w. When I have melted candles under the 50w, I can usually get 4 or 5 melting sessions out of it before I need to pour it out. I only have the lamp on for maybe 6 hours at a time. I would think that wax melts in a volume that's similar would be the same? Of course 2 bars is probably less than the depth of the wax pool I get with a candle under the lamp, so that would affect the longevity. It would be an interesting experiment. If you try it, let me know how that works for you!
@ okay I am going to try it next week. I will let you know how it works out for me. I have the 50w version and I feel like it performs really well. You are definitely a variety person lol, I am okay with a few days, but that is because sometimes I can be lazy when it comes to changing wax. 🥱
