    Greg Asner
    Ecologist
H20 The molecule that made us
    Season 1 Episode 1
23:00min into the documentary of 52:04 this is where you start to learn what and how trees create rain...although you can watch the whole thing very educational, much more so for kids in classrooms even...
Condensation nuclei, seeds the air, an air river,
Greg Asner bounces radar of areas with water and droughts areas and can through his cameras, see the water left in trees, 1-2% die off is about what you usually see but 50% die off in the rainforest starting in 2018, wasn’t at all good , although commissioned by the California governor at the time he did see good regions, he called refugia that are natural oases, and because of San Carlos cutting down many of the old eucalyptus down San Carlos ave and alameda de las pulgas, and drastically down El Camino in Burlingame, plus other places I’m sure, constantly other northern redwoods and giant sequoias or other important natives not being replanted, the fire season has gotten worse from 2010 to 2022, since many eucalyptus and redwood species were cut down during this time increasing the fire potential, and this according to Greg Asner, measurements and the science extrapolated from it...
By not replanting natives and northern redwoods along with giant sequoias up and down the coast from here to LA, it highly threatens our water shed crystal springs and hetch hetchy
So nuff said, more trees not less, so more and of course keep the ones you already have or else you will see die off and low rain fall, I mean, right...
We’ve done an admirable Job as human beings, you know as a species, but be humble we are only a thread in the web not the web itself, contaminate your bed and you will one night suffocate in your own waste, all of the things are done by nature she has done all the good and creating all old growth forests which are so rare now, millions billions of years in the making and highly efficient and effective up to 115% efficiency in fact, much more than we can create nowadays, although because we are nature itself, I know we can do much better than this, no less than paradise or pollution the only two real choices, by tending being good Stuart’s of the land and not manipulating the sacred gene pool of nature...!!!
    -Nathaniel Chan
If someone is able to show me that what I think or do is not right, I will happily change, for I seek the truth, by which no one was ever truly harmed. It is the person who continues in his self-deception and ignorance who is harmed.

You aint gonna learn what you don’t wanna know.
You can’t wake someone up when their pretending to be asleep!!!
What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit, not to mention hunger. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected.
You must teach your children that the ground beneath their feet is the ashes of our grandfathers. So that they will respect the land, tell your children that the earth is rich with the lives of our kin. Teach your children that we have taught our children that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves.
This we know; the earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected.
Even the white man, whose God walks and talks with him as friend to friend, cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We shall see. One thing we know which the white man may one day discover; our God is the same God.
You may think now that you own Him as you wish to own our land; but you cannot. He is the God of man, and His compassion is equal for the red man and the white. The earth is precious to Him, and to harm the earth is to heap contempt on its creator. The whites too shall pass; perhaps sooner than all other tribes. Contaminate your bed and you will one night suffocate in your own waste.
But in your perishing you will shine brightly fired by the strength of the God who brought you to this land and for some special purpose gave you dominion over this land and over the red man.
That destiny is a mystery to us, for we do not understand when the buffalo are all slaughtered, the wild horses are tamed, the secret corners of the forest heavy with the scent of many men and the view of the ripe hills blotted by talking wires.
Where is the thicket? Gone. Where is the eagle? Gone.
The end of living and the beginning of survival.
All things share the same breath - the beast, the tree, the man... the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
Man does not weave this web of life. He is merely a strand of it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.
